Jordan Williams was trained by 🇺🇸fossil corp/billionaire funded #AtlasNetwork to run one of 550+ ‘thinktanks’ in 100 nations, to take over Aotearoa’s public policy ‘debate’ & government for them with nasty propaganda. Isn’t #AtlasNetwork the most dangerous, antisocial, predatory lawless gang ever?

Binkenstein@binkenstein.bsky.social

1. Anything run or started by Jordan Williams should be considered the same organisation 2. You can bet he (and Seymour) would be super against anything even slightly slanderous aimed at ACT (see: Tim Jago) #nzpol

Bolsonaro's loss is not just a loss for Bolsonaro. It's a loss for Trump. For Musk. For Milei. For Netanyahu. For Farage. For Meta and Zuckerberg. For the meat barons, the fossil fuel corporations, and the rest of the neocolonial looters. And it is a massive win for humanity and the living planet.

Reportedly 10 current and former US officials said State Department appointees Darren Beattie and Ricardo Pita led campaign to restore the Bolsonaros to power in Brazil. Three said the pair told diplomats that it was US policy.

Every procedure outsourced to the private sector enriches their shareholders at the expense of our public health system, and that weasel Simeon Brown knows it. Vote them out #nzpol

The lessons from Brazil and Serbia? Don't concede one inch of ground to the far right. Don't appease. Don't triangulate. Don't grovel. Don't say they have "legitimate concerns". Mobilise your base, and fight them with all the democratic means at your disposal.

Right now, I am very proud of the (young) people of Brasil. Look what they did in a week using popular music fan groups to motivate their peers. That was a BIG save for South America and the planet.

The Kids are alright 👍

Rafa Sales Ross@rafiews.com

And, most importantly, thanks to the vital mobilisation of young people. Students took to the streets the day after the first round elections, kickstarting massive movements that saw the largest public demonstrations in Brazil since the days of Diretas Já at the end of the military dictatorship.

What The President said, but in NZ 👇 ...Remember all the hysterical rants about wasteful spending by the Labour Government before the last election? I do. That was their reasoning for sacking 35K 'Bureaucrats.' Whats out debt like now? Way higher and our country is in a death spiral. #nzpol

OBAMA: When I was president, all these Republicans are all deficits, deficits, debt, debt. You got to do something about it. And now—$40 trillion—Crickets. Somehow deficits only matter when a Democratic president is in office

Yeah. I’ve been robbed twelve times in nz. Almost every time the freezer would be cleaned out of high value food items. It’s poverty that causes crime, folks.

Better title: "The Electoral Commission is 107,000 enrolments behind the last election, after being knowingly sabotaged by the current government." #nzpol

Kia ora! Just to let you know that I'll be playing records at the little boutique record store in the basement of fancy new Queen St department store Faraday's tomorrow (ie: Thursday), 11am to 3pm. Come down and say hi! You may also catch a glimpse of elusive man of mystery Matthew Crawley.

It almost seems like The Labour Party really dgaf about winning. I mean, they're all sorted. In opposition you get most of the money and none of the responsibility. #nzpol

I get this manufactured media political outrage over politicians of the left meeting gangs, 'they're meeting bad people who will endanger your safety' blah. Casey Costello's ACT & National Govt have given $300m tax breaks to an industry that kills 13 kiwis a day. Who is the greater danger?

You might recognize some names here in Aotearoa....one is supposedly a "Family Company" being sued for its cancer causing talcum powder and the other does LOTS of "work" for the National Party in Government. In this case the 'talcum' is likely inhaled. #nzpol

Ramaswamy has produced an attack ad weaponizing the rape of his opponent, Amy Acton, when she was 12 years old. It features Acton’s mother, who abandoned Acton after she was raped by her step-father, fleeing the state with her husband. Here is the corporate money helping fund that ad.

I went to the NZ embassy in Berlin to vote today (shout out to the friendly team there!) *Almost* got lost on the way back to where I’m staying. So if a directionally challenged person, who can’t speak German can find their way to the voting booth so can you #nzpol

Look for yourself at the damage this Government has done. Job growth in every sector has been slaughtered. Not slowed. Not kept in check. Slaughtered. You can't look at this and draw any other conclusion. This Coalition Government is a miserable failure. #nzpol Vote them out.

There have, of course, been times in human history that were even darker and more terrible. But never, it seems, have there been times so despicable and, above all, so stupid.

Very probably the best photo I've ever taken of a 16th Century dovecote with a cow standing in front of it, surrounded by buttercups, looking like she has just dropped a debut album she is thoroughly proud of.

The “we are short staffed today our apologies” sign at the ward entrance has been laminated and has been in place so long the edges are curling. I’d rather my taxes went towards more nurses than more tax cuts.
