These are the engines used to make 9,724 games for the GMTK Game Jam in 2025! 1️⃣ Unity - 41% 2️⃣ Godot - 39% 3️⃣ Other / No Engine - 11% 4️⃣ Game Maker - 5% 5️⃣ Unreal Engine - 4%

The fact that 99% of the cheetah sonas I see are basically just a real cheetah with a different hair style and eye colour is proof that cheetahs are already perfect

Canines be like "yeah blue with red stripes and yellow dots, heterochromia, 8 tails, each of a different colour" Meanwhile chees are like "hmm yes chee"

Sometimes you send a message on Discord and then stop to think about all the life choices that got you to this point... Mine today was "I don't think I know enough straight people to make an educated guess"

1. LLM-generated code tries to run code from online software packages. Which is normal but 2. The packages don’t exist. Which would normally cause an error but 3. Nefarious people have made malware under the package names that LLMs make up most often. So 4. Now the LLM code points to malware.

LLMs hallucinating nonexistent software packages with plausible names leads to a new malware vulnerability: "slopsquatting."

In my opinion it's unacceptable to be iOS exclusive, especially when there's no web version available. At that point it's better to make it web only. Why does everything need a dedicated app anyway?

iOS holds only 27% of the global market, but in 2024, iOS users accounted for 68% of global app spendingβ€”meaning iOS users spend twice as much as Android users. That’s why many startups go for iOS first if they don’t have the budget to develop for both platforms.

I hate these kinds of comments, because they demonstrate a lack of understanding of a fundamental fact--if billionaires were the type of people who thought about helping others, they would never be billionaires in the first place.
