was nice to revisit the FF OVA since I didn't finish it as a kid. the story was a little meh but I was taken by the art and especially several bits of the soundtrack. In fact I went ahead & plucked the 2 CDs out of a torrent and put on archive archive.org/details/Fina... archive.org/details/Fina...

The Final Fantasy V party was, let's say, "buffed" for the anime. We cover FF Legend of the Crystals on the latest Draw Game! Listen now at https://drawgamepod.com!

Art of The Guardian Legend's heroine! She's Miria in Japan but is never named in the translated version, apart from being called The Guardian. Some folks refer to her as Alyssa, but I don't think that's canon. Anyway, I love these. The last one looks like it came from an old Nintendo Power spread.

Had the job, Apparently some of my background stuff didn’t score as high as they wanted so they’ve rescinded the job offer I have no idea what could have been a problem and I’m pretty at a loss of what to do right now. I guess I’m back to trying to find something but NOTHING is getting back to me

paypal.comPay Ian Patterson using PayPal.MeGo to paypal.me/HakethKOTB and type in the amount. Since it’s PayPal, it's easy and secure. Don’t have a PayPal account? No worries.

My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

Fun fact: The decision to animate the final episode of Gunbuster in black-and-white was not a cost-cutting move—it was a creative choice. It’s actually more resource intensive and time consuming compared to traditional methods.
