Not really. You all own a portion of the path you jointly chose to follow to get here. I know it's uncomfortable, but you were a part of the Republican party that made Trump possible. That you recognized your error later does not absolve you of your part in it.

Trump spent much of that meeting being confused that Germans could be happy the Nazis lost. That would be disgraceful behavior that would define any normal human's time as president. It is about the fourth worst thing he did in the last 24 hours.

Yes and no. I am a firm believer that in a democracy you get the government you deserve, because its within our power and obligation to create good governance. If we dont like our representatives we should get out and run to be one.

Way too many “home schooled” kids whose parents were also “home schooled.” Public schools, staffed with fully credentials teachers, are where students are supposed to learn about citizenship and its responsibilities. Students are supposed to learned critical thinking and apply it.

Any layman who represents themselves in a court of law has a fool for a client..similarly for 'Home Schooling' unless the teacher has broad academic learning. Great teachers don't spew facts to impart knowledge,they inspire curiosity,intrigue,they show how to do research...a love for reading....

You can still learn critical thinking without going to public school. We have homeschools here in Canada, some with just parents, others tied to the Canadian curriculum. The difference is we don't have thousands of Evangelical nutjobs teaching their children like you have in the US. RELIGION!

We have been, no one was willing to admit it. No universal healthcare like the rest of the world. No maternity/paternity leave. No childcare subsidies. Education sucks, higher education is expensive for most. Housing has been an issue and on and on.

The parade has been in the works for the past 2 years. Nothing to do with his birthday. Even the military have said they will not honour his birthday and that it is a celebration of US military only.

The military might have planned minor parades on bases, we don't do huge parades in DC. Trump was crying about getting a parade since the 1st term. This is All Trump's ego going overboard because he was denied a parade by the generals. Putin gets parades and he is jealous.

We deserved better, but we got these fools. And now, for a bit of relief, we deserve to see these two, gigantic egos, powering their broken brains do their best to damage each other as much as possible. Every bit of credibility either of them lose is a win for America in the long run.
