(/1) White House unveils Jan. 6 website saying Democrats staged the real Insurrection I'm putting the whole thing here and quoting the most horrific part so they don't get the web traffic they are after. NOW ON THE OFFICIAL WHITE HOUSE WEBSITE: "The Dems masterfully reversed reality...branding

just a reminder of the initial, in the moment, right wing reaction to jan 6 my favorite is greg gutfeld saying republican condemnation of the jan 6 rioters is an example of their moral superiority over the left www.mediamatters.org/media/4018641

A healthy reminder that, no matter how much Apple, or Pepsi, or *insert megacorporation here* makes their logo a rainbow every June, none of them, or the billionaires owning them, give a shit about anyone except themselves.

Oh, all the 'cool' Nazi kids use Apple products (so they can coordinate how to attack gays, trans humans and people who believe in science). Tim Cook only cares about Apple's stock price.

I think one of the ways Jan 6 was pivotal to our politics (for the worse) was letting corpos know they can take the mask off because there was no punishment for doing the wrong thing. It was the public execution of liberalism and the social contract. They no longer had to hide behind PR and rainbows

"Had to do it for the shareholders. Fiduciary duty. Blah, blah, blah." Stunning to watch powerful men degrade themselves for more power when real power actually means having a spine. All that wealth and not a penny of screw-you money.
