Never mind the art and livelihoods smashed to bits; the new regime lets them say 'fuck' in a showcase it must be absolutely blissful to be so thick & morally free

It's the half remembered playthrough of Max Payne they did 15+ years ago. A vague outline of an antihero cursing his way through faceless goons, written in a way so that no real life or politics are accidentally mentioned.

Maybe the most annoying part of this for me is that their cozying up to the worst Xbox fans worked. I mean, worked in that it kept them loyal, it doesn't seem to have any actual practical benefit beyond that.

Xbox appealing to their fanboys in the past couple of weeks does make more sense in light of what's happening now. They secured a PR army supporting the layoffs...

I'm incredibly foulmouthed and I think it's so weird and sad that these fucking manchildren have so little personality that "I say fuck" is like a core element of their personalities. And they're all at least a decade older than me. Like holy fuck get a hobby. I hear video games are fun.

Yeah because Phil Spencer was a wimp and someone from Microsoft Corporate is going to be way more edgy and down to earth? Is that the argument?? Like what? what???

I’d love to see how arbitrarily doing the opposite of whatever the last guy did gets people to want to buy an overpriced console that needs to be allowed to die. They’re going to make an even bigger mess instead of living with the truth that they’re Jaguar era Atari and it’s time to fold.

Gamepass didnt work out so the studios got shut down. Blame Phil Spencer for trying to make gamepass work. These studio would've closed years ago if weren't for Microsoft funding them. The games they made neither pushed gamepass or sold well. Undead lab is next on the chopping block.
