.. this follows the pattern of 'cause crisis, partially mitigate crisis you caused, claim credit for solving crisis' In 4 years we'll likely be back to where the country was when Trump took over, but he'll claim he brought us back from some brink. And a portion of MAGA will remember it that way.

Yes, it will! Completely and then he'll be happy surrounded by a shit ton of poor people who will have to do his bidding to be able to survive. Kinda like what seems to be happening in the GOP houses.

Republicans wouldn't vote for impeachment knowing he lied about election fraud and caused an insurrection attempt on J6 and worse then they made him their candidate for POTUS. tRump only cares about tRump, period and he's "never wrong about anything."

Yeah, we would all like to keep our 401k's, and I believe we should be able to move any losses in our accounts from the accounts those idiots that voted for this mess to make our accounts whole again.

Both would fit. Those that voted for him that feel the whole "it's going to hurt just for a little while" is a good thing, and the FOTUS since he claims he has so much money that he doesn't need ours. Either way as long as our retirement accounts are made whole.

Should have voted for his Trumping impeachment, at least for the 2nd one! But no, your money is more important than the Constitution and lives of the police and others who help protect government - remember the 1/6/2021 Trump encouraged Insurrection! You’re worse than MAGAt voters!

Late to the party and worst neighbor of the year award. Meanwhile the House led by Johnson is doing everythimg possible to avoid being on session as Johnson gives them another recess of 1 month beginning on Thursday. The House work Tues-Thursday 2 weeks a month now. None of these MAGA will stop him

If you have any bit of humanity you’ll find the self-interest grotesque. But I will argue that that I’ll take the enemy of my enemy right now. We need all the ex-cheerleaders we can get. We can hammer out motivations (that got us here!), policy, later, when actual political debate is possible again

Cool story, bro. You had three chances to make sure this shit didn’t happen, and not only did you fail to take them, you went out of your way on the third chance to make a big show about how you didn’t believe it should even be an option.

We did great the first time! We HAVE to do even better this time! He is crazy and more and more people are going to get hurt! We have to fight with everything we have! Bring your friends and family. Share and make everyone aware.

reaching "I agree with Rand Paul" level is a place I didn't anticipate we'd sink to. If only the House had reasonable republicans in it, instead of just MAGA dipshits

That's the only reason he's worried about Trump's policies. He's fine with everything till there's a chance it'll hurt him financally. He's just like all the people who voted for Trump, until they lost their jobs, because they thought he was only going to zero in on Blacks and Hispanics.

Instead of huffing and ridiculing, Rand Paul is now an asset. If it doesn't start somewhere it never will. I don't really ever agree with him, but what good does scoffing do? Either they don't do shit and people complain, or they do and people complain. It's never too late to do the right thing.

I agree. IF he does something. He's a sitting senator and can do more than you or I. If he just whines a little but continues to support the regime then he is no ally.

Have you noticed… Only when something negatively impacts a congressional member - like the rest of the citizens - then they feel compelled to speak out. Poor guy doesn’t want to lose his money. Rand Paul is a total scum bag. He’s only rivaled in being scummy with Ted Cruz and Mitch McConnell.

Rand Paul?????really? Someone needs to find out where his money is invested that he’s speaking out….do you think he’s involved in the whiskey and bourbon business in Kentucky I doubt he has to worry about a retirement fund, he’s set for life just by being in goverment

Maybe Rand Paul should have thought about this Before he supported everything Trump wanted to do. Somebody send him some tiny violins. Ayn Rand edition if you can find them.

They were fine when it was only going to hurt the working class Pay attention, Americans When we make it through this Everyone complicit, including Democrats must be primaried & removed from office & any who broke the law needs to be Indited & Inprisoned just like they would do to us

You had plenty of time to make your thoughts known about many things. You decided to stay silent until now? You are a spineless joke. #TERMLIMITS

Typical conservative, am I right? Wealthy, right wing, fake anarchist / crypto-fascist / "libertarian" Sen. Paul (Republican - Kentucky) would apparently be fine supporting a fallacy that makes you lose your wealth, but as he's affected himself, his personal wealth may take a hit, he's opposed.

Do you think every other Republican afraid to speak up is unaware it affects them? Just give credit where due. He is a very true libertarian. He may be a crappy person otherwise but this is more important to him than his senate seat
