Obama has the crowd at Jesse Jackson's eulogy hanging on his every word

Still in shock that a majority of white people were so upset that this man was president that we got a fucking moron in return. There are very few comparisons to this man. On the brighter side, Trump will be going to bed jealous tonight and Obama will probably get a mean tweet.

The pendulum swings! America went from a compassionate caring decent man to a festering pustule of greed, corruption and hate an utter demon! I hope when the pendulum swings back it is the polar opposite of trump because we sorely need it!

I believe. I believe in the path the Reverend Jesse Jackson saw and helped lay for those of us with a soul to follow. A soul that recognises the courage it takes to keep believing that humanity is worth saving. That cruelty is wrong. That our science, adapability and art matters. Rest in POWER sir.

Obama has presence, poise, intelligence, and eloquence. Trump has none of those things just arrogance, stupidity, pettiness, vindictiveness, and spite.

How on earth did you go from this man to the thing crouched in its fools gold encrusted lair in the White House today? Disgraceful.

Quite humorous when Obama started to speak and there was some chanting in the background. Maybe “4 more years” or something similar. Whatever they were chanting, Obama said “no, I follow the constitution”!

I mean, I even miss the gaffs and mispronunciations like "nucular" of GWB at this point. Even is "aww shucks" approach to speeches would be better than a rambling incoherent narcissist dementia patient.

Obama gets "it". He understands that today is a day to honor Rev Jackson. He understands that he would not be there if not for Rev Jackson. Yet he keeps the focus on Jacksons accomplishments and not himself. This is how you honor the people that came before you and paved the way. Fly high Reverend.

Longing for the good ol’ days of a vigorous, healthy, SANE, law-abiding government servant as President, no doubt. One who was fully owned by corporations rather than foreign dictators, as American Presidents should be. Uh, maybe we need to rethink that legal bribery thing with CU, come to think…

I will tell you why. it’s because unfortunately, at the core, we, the United States of America, are a bunch of fucking racist‼️‼️ PS I’m an old white guy.

Nice to be reminded we can elect men with ethics, empathy, and intelligence. We all just need to VOTE against the MAGA hate

I watched it live. I was just about to leave when he came on. Notice how speakers briefly look at their notes. They spoke from their hearts. Such a great speech.

I miss this man , this president what an orator 💛 it’s such a shame the kkk southern politicians tied this man’s hands yet he ran for a 2nd term . Inspite of the ignorant level of racism he faced he still gave us the ACA. Do better American public and show you can rise above propaganda.

Wow…a speech with a message and not just some guy going “he was great….he was great…some say I’m greater, but you’re not supposed to say that in a eulogy…”

I miss having real leadership at the helm. We are in seriously dangerous times and we have a bunch of grifters and abusers in charge.

Yes, President Obama speaks to the heart ❤️ of America!!! No matter who or where you came from.. A true man who presided over the American people and one of our greatest presidents thank you for President Obama

I sometimes wonder how different today would be if he and Biden switched presidencies, Joe in 2008, 2012, then Barack in 2016, and 2020. Best of both worlds for them (Joe with age, Barack with more experience) and for US. Ahhh...hindsight.

as always - the man is a great orator and was a good president - he is a sincere guy and displays the least amount of arrogance one could possibly ask for in a man of his renown and accomplishments

Obama made one fatal mistake: He was green when he came into the White House, had seen in "W" the result of ignorance. So he asked Clinton for a braintrust. But they represented Wall St. Listening to those experts, Obama was drawn off-course. That's why his rhetoric and econ policies rarely synced.

Every person watching this is thinking the same thing... I mean, I don't even have to say what that thing is. You know.

I really wish that was true. I do understand, though what you were saying. At least some of us can appreciate a truly great leader.

Pres Obama is the reason why Trump didn't go. Trump can't hold a candle to Obama in public speaking, Obama's elegant use of language, his good looks and class. Putting them in the same room would be way too much for Trump to handle. All eyes on Obama, while Trump wets himself in humiliation.
