Lombardo on Trump: "When the press and media runs him down, they think about 'he's taking care of his billionaire friends.' But those billionaire friends provide jobs. And unless you take care of them, those jobs are absent."

And imagine all those poor wittle shares that aren't bought back?! How can you pay low wages and deplete your rights without buying back all those itty bitty stocks. They're so lonely!

The president who so unselfishly DOESN’T take a SALARY just rigged the IRS & DOJ to avoid paying $100 MILLION in owed back taxes, but sure, he and all of his billionaire buddies are looking out for the little guys.

Without the workers their company ceases to exist. They've been lying to their employees for so long that employees think they have no choice. You don't become a billionaire without exploiting your workers, right Walmart?

You know who says shit like that? Billionaires who want to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. They say “provide jobs” like it’s a gift. The PEOPLE doing those jobs is what PROVIDES the money TO the billionaires. Self-centered shit bags!

The age old yap of the robber barons, ‘we’re so essential’ ‘Society would collapse without us’ - oh so quickly turns into ‘let them eat cake’

This is the Governor of Nevada, right? The Vegas Strip has gone way downhill since it started becoming all about catering to rich people and squeezing profit vs having good jobs and great experiences. And Vegas is in a major tourism slump under this mentality abcnews.com/amp/Politics... #Vegas

abcnews.comVegas workers say they have been hit by tourism slump fueled by Trump-era tariffs and high costsLas Vegas hospitality workers say they're squeezed by a tourism slowdown they blame on Trump's tariffs, high gas prices due to the war in Iran and the cost of living.

So, their take is that if you get rid of the people who saw an opportunity to make money by employing others, nobody else will come along and think ‘hey, I notice that I could make money if I employed some people to provide a function people pay money for’?

The way you become a billionaire is specifically by creating as few jobs as possible so you can keep all the money for yourself, which is why they’ve been investing their billions in tech companies who promise to remove human labor from the equation altogether.

It's hard to understand how anyone can be stupid enough to believe these blatant, ignorant, completely transparent lies, but about 1/3 of Americans are there, slurping it up while their lives burn down around them.

Let's test that theory by stopping taking care of them. Because right now, large corporations are laying off people even as they are getting more money due to government handouts.

Stupid assinine logic. Billionaires need billions of dollars to create jobs that pay me low wages so I can make billions for your pockets? You live in a mansion and attend parties at your pedophiles FL resort, I live in a rented room and struggle daily to survive.

The only thing that creates jobs at the end of the day is consumer demand. Billionaires respond to that, and are forced to hire. Demand without supply creates opportunity. Supply without demand is of no value.

Sorry but that’s poppycock. They make their money through an available market and exploiting their staff. Billionaires rarely reinvest on the high street as ordinary people do. Their consumer habits tend towards luxury goods such as luxury yachts and additional homes in exotic locations.

Billionaires only "provide" jobs if they think by hiring you they will make more money. They will also pay you as little as they can get away with to the point of you receiving government assistance to survive. How do these idiots not know this?

They create jobs that are so low paid that people needs food stamps.........and Trump takes away food stamps............... Make it make sense

Americans aren't embracing socialism—they're rejecting 45 years of Reaganomics, billionaire rule, and an economy rigged against the middle class.

Of all the lies ever told in America, this is one of the worst. All those billionaires are firing thousands of workers as we speak. And they're never going to rehire them.

of course they won't tell you it is better to have more options for people...both consumer and workers. They would like you to believe only the select few should control everything

It's like ever notice when the Big Boss goes on vacation or leaves early things actually run smoother then when he's hanging around sticking his nose in shit? ...but if one of the lowest paid employees has to take a sick day or two the place FALLS APART.

Way back when we had a booming middle class the big companies, corporations and the extremely wealthy were paying tax rates in the 90% range, and they were still doing very well and making nice profits for themselves. And the people working for them could afford a good living with benefits as well.

If tomorrow all the billionaires gave away enough of their money to just be millionaires again, that money would go to other people creating jobs, and there would be even more jobs, at better companies, run by better people - not solely devoted to creating more billionaires.

How many federal jobs have been cut in the last year and a half? How many people have lost their jobs and more since January 2025? What is the ACTUAL unemployment rate, how many people has Bezos alone laid off since he lined up with the rest of the gangsters at the inauguration? So much gaslighting.

Small businesses, firms with fewer than 500 employees) account for about 44–46% of U.S. private-sector employment. So billionaires are not the ones creating jobs. Another trump sycophant showing his ignorance of how the US economy actually works.

It’s going to take 45 years, but a billionaire president is going to get his billionaire friends to say that trickle down works… ‘Yeah, he’ll cut AIDS research but that’s just a small part. Childhood cancer research - cut, food assistance -cut, international health aid - gone! You did it Ronnie!’

Ah, the eternal conservative propaganda that jobs are gifts from owners who create companies and their products all on their own, and not an expense they want to get rid of if they can!

So so wrong. Those billionaires hate completion and stifle other mom/pop business. They create chaos and raise their bottom line like the great egg crisis. They try to fk the worker all day every day to save a buck. Now AI gives them the chance to eliminate human hassle. And they screw the consumer2

Amazing that he adnmits this but consider the source. His friends then should be giving back to the employees as he is making all his money. Maybe wage increase would be a good start…

These billionaire buddies don’t provide a livable wage, adequate health insurance, or childcare, while still receiving government subsidies. Profiting billions off the back of hardworking Americans. Seems like corruption to me.

Oh yeh never thought of it like that. So when a billionaire filled industry makes schools unsafe from mass shootings, we should thank the billionaire filled industry right? I get it. Yeh spot on.

What total 100% BULLSHIT. Company success and jobs are in no way dependent on the top executives raking in 1000x more than their average employee, or not paying their fair share of taxes. The usual Reagan-era right wing "trickle down" poison that has all but destroyed America's middle class.

It’s not just Trump taking care of his billionaire friends. Trump and the entire corrupt GOP are. The billionaire elites own the Repub Party and the Repub Party does what the billionaire elites tell them to do. Even up to the point of covering up the rapes of children by the billionaire elites.

🙄 Billionaires have the money to take care of themselves. They don't "create" enough jobs to justify what they take from everybody else.
