Americans are relearning the lesson we learned during the Gilded Age of the late 1890s, when robber barons ran the government and the economy for their own benefit: Oligarchy is incompatible with the common good. I'm hopeful we'll respond with a new progressive movement.

The bigger question is how Musk can hold a security clearance or oversee the operations of a company with supersensitive and classified government contracts. Several FBI agents bluntly asked that question. They all got fired or reassigned and their supervisors were unable to answer their questions.

I'm sorry, as a survivor of child physical and sexual abuse from a parent, this is very triggering. This chud thinks promoting a woman who sided with her husband after he was arrested for raping her 12-year-old daughter is just about "hurt feelings." It's so much more. It's about human depravity.

THEY ARE NOT POWERLESS TO STOP HIM! Go back to Washington, stand on the steps of the Capitol and demand Johnson and Thune recall the House and Senate, and impeach him. THIS IS HOW IT IS SUPPOSED TO WORK! THERE IS LITERALLY AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL! (It's called the Constitution.)

Republican lawmakers are incensed about Trump's dismissal of Ukraine — and powerless to stop him. That frustration hit a new peak on Monday as they sought to address Trump’s decision to purchase Russian diesel, waive sanctions on Moscow, and potentially stop sharing intelligence with Ukraine.
