Tom Homan on why DHS is sending deportation flights into dangerous condition in Haiti: "We're just enforcing the law, and we're doing it in a way the American people voted for"

I’ll ask again what law allows his department to traffic humans to random foreign countries, sometimes to be incarcerated in inhumane conditions.

Sending deportees to Haiti is an escalation of cruelty, just like sending them to African countries where they are far, far away from home with NO connections, no money, no language. More cruelty from this fascist regime that specializes in cruelty. I makes me sad.

And when the American people vote these idiots out, what will be his excuse ? Not that the Democrats will do anything about ICE atrocities when the leaders won’t even consider impeachment

“We are doing it in the way that 32.5% of voting age citizens voted for”. There, fixed it for him. The 34.7% of voting age citizens who did not cast a vote were actively assisting in the end of democracy.

I wish Dana had corrected him. “No Tom, it’s what Trump voters wanted. The rest of us, even some life long Republicans, are absolutely appalled by the actions of this administration. And I will add there will be a day of reckoning for those who were silent or turned a blind eye to this.”

I kinda remember then campaigning on deporting criminals, drug dealers, and murders. You know the worst of the worst. Instead they revoke Temporary Protected Status and detain people who were here otherwise legally. That wasn’t on the ballot.

Our Declaration of Independence, whose 250th Anniversary we supposedly just "celebrated," particularly condemns the English Crown "For transporting us beyond Seas..." which is exactly what WE'RE DOING NOW, but without even the benefit of a trial!

The Haitians could have been given a path to citizenship, rather than a path back to Haiti where many will die. They are good, hard-working people. They deserve much better.

Let’s be clear moron homan, the US did not vote for the inhumane treatment & deportation of non criminal undocumented residents. What we see is criminal & once we have competent members of congress who can & will hold you accountable, you & your ice idiots will face subpoena after subpoena. Buckleup

Tom your a sick depraved soulless person. This is NOT what maga Americans put you in office for. It’s sick how you treat other human beings in this country. I can’t wait till you’re out of office. We’ll figure out how to deal with you people once we get our country back.

I'm tired of hearing everyone from this administration and talking heads on CNN that support this administration constantly state "Trump campaigned on this and Americans voted for this". Great, next Dem, go ahead and institute whatever you promised and when they complain, repeat their justification

Sunday Morning Funnies, August 30 edition. Highlights: -sycophants and toadies aired just to amplify their lies and bullshit -"world class" journalists offering little to no pushback of follow-up -stupid culture-war questions for Democrat/Independent guests FU MSM

Dear America. We are not stuck with this. Never forget that “we the people” CONSENT to being governed. Our consent is CONDITIONAL and can be REVOKED. It wouldn’t be the first time.. We can undo ALL of this. “They” want you to think nothing can be changed so you shut up and stay out of the way.

Well that seems like he is bowing to inevitably having his ass thrown into jail in 2029-33 which is the closest he gets to either humble or gracious.

This is exactly how they’ll all respond when (and if) the investigations ever happen next year “we had a mandate and we’re just doing what the people voted for.”

If he doesn’t know the conditions in Haiti then nobody got a credible fear hearing which means he didn’t follow the law. Also push back on saying they were here illegally and quit calling people czars 😠

Doesn't matter if you think people voted for it, votinf someone does not give them a right to break the law and commit human rights violations. We absolutely need laws that allow us to diplomatically remove any elected or appointed official without congress.

As much as I hate Homan, he's not wrong. We quite literally voted for this shit. We cannot let ourselves turn away or blame anyone else. Or it'll stay broken until it's too late.

This is the fat fucking grifter who got caught taking a $50,000 bribe. The current FBI and DOJ are holding that over his head. I get the feeling he will happily turn on all of them to save his own skeevy skin when he’s dragged in front of a future tribunal.

Nobody voted for street executions and deportations of 5 year old children. BTW, why hasn't Homan been indicted & prosecuted for taking a bribe in the amount of $50k? Lock him up.

Who voted for wasteful cruelty for cruelty’s sake Hateful MAGAs and the people who sat out the vote because they let perfect become the enemy of good. They are the ones responsible. God will judge and hopefully we will have Nuremberg like trials after this administration is done

They are doing it to assure no one dares try to come to the USA by sending people to die. The Republicans are racist and hateful and want to make America white again.

CNN is complicit in what the neo-Nazis have done. They invite the fascists on and let them spread their lies and propaganda with very little pushback. 🤷🏻‍♂️🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

The MAGA, Muslims/Latinos/Somalis/Asians for Trump, the Uncommitted, the 3rd party voters & the 89 million people (or so) who sat the election out voted for this, I hope you all get what you wished for us! Enjoy your ignorance, bigotry, racism, war, virus outbreaks, tariffs and lost jobs..

Trump is in negative approval territory for immigration, his SIGNATURE issue. It's pretty clear that this is NOT what the American people, including many who voted for Trump, voted for. Is that a Blue Wave I see on the horizon?

Shouldn’t Haitians (and others being sent back into near literal war zones especially those previously present totally legally) have some sort of protection within the Constitution? If so any class action legal cases active?

We're just enforcing the law is not an excuse to send people to a place that literally has no functional government, where the US government advises it's own citizens to avoid. So you don't care if you're sending them to their death. Just get them out of here. This is cruel.

What makes this even more appalling is seeing the US State Department website warnings about the current conditions in Haiti with the highest threat Level 4 DO NOT TRAVEL advisory and the long list of why it’s so dangerous there. 😒 travel.state.gov/en/internati...

"We're just enforcing the law, and we're doing it in a way the American people voted for"… Um… Yeah, No… Don’t blame us… this is all on you, Tom, Trump, and the rest of the Republicans who voted for this travesty.

Isn’t he saying that the only people who voted for this are the same ones who saw no issue with accepting $50,000 cash in a paper sack from the restaurant chain Cava?
