X is not a form of public media or a legitimate government communication vehicle. This just has to be illegal for a government agency. Communications can’t be restricted to a for profit social media platform owned by the guy who bought the president.

Official Social Security communications should be on its official site. No way should it be on any social media as the source of truth.This is HEINOUS. Plus, a lot of seniors wouldn’t see it on Twitter/X because they don’t use it much anymore as it’s a cesspool nowadays,not because they’re Luddites

I'm now on Soc Sec I was stalked and hounded, accused of illegal activity on X for almost a year by an individual who just opened new account after new account when I blocked him. X would do nothing to stop it. I deleted my account in 2021. I'm not getting SSA 'updates' on that trash site. Never.

This, of course, is an effort to force people to X. I think Congress needs to enact a law requiring all Federal agencies to post all official communications on their official websites. They are free to repost these communications to social media sites and if so must use multiple sites.

Are we still asking this? I feel like this could be painted on the White House at this point.
