I remember seeing an interview with Dollys's housekeepers. They also kept house for Reba McEntire and would always tease Dolly how "Reba doesn't do it that way" or "how come you don't do it like Reba does ?" She loved their good natured ribbing.

Dolly was a warm, genuine, caring person. One of a kind. I was fortunate enough to see her in person, filming a movie in Chicago, back in the 90's.

The tributes and warmth of outpouring of grief at her passing will make him so jealous beyond belief, because he knows deep down, when his time comes, it will be like the Rio carnival throughout the world..

People have challenged me to name one person everybody likes.I have consistently named Dolly. For her talent, generous heart and her ability to poke fun at herself. Rest in peace Dolly

So sad that she had to die seeing her country become a shithole country. This is what makes me the saddest about dying now. It’s gotten so bad it cannot return to any decency before I’m gone.

This one hurts more than I ever imagined it would. In a world where it feels as if the depths of hell are taking over the world, Dolly was one last bastion of goodness and light! Fly high sweet Dolly!

I’ve been saying for years that Dolly Parton was the greatest living American. Now that she has passed, I guess I have to think of someone else. But frankly there is no one around now that measures up.

#DollyParton was just a great talent but she was a generous Philanthropist donating to causes like Medical research and development of Covid Vaccine and Childhood Infectious diseases , to hospitals and clinics as well as disaster relief. All without a lot of fan fare. She was a Saint.

This bums me out. Dolly and Willie are my heroes. I went from hating country music to asking myself what would Willie or Dolly do? Dolly was as kind as she was talented. A 5-foot-tall force of nature. She left her mark on this world and will never be forgotten.

"Puppy Love" is Dolly Parton’s very first 45 RPM single. It was recorded in March 1959 when she was just 13 years old and released on April 6, 1959, by Goldband Records (Catalog Number: G-1086) Nashville would not touch dat in '59, so Dolly & her grandma took 13-hour bus trip to Lake Charles.
