Couldn’t stand him 40 years ago, can’t stand him now. And nothing he’s done in between has made me think he’s anything but the worst result of a spoiled rich kid who didn’t get his ass kicked when he REALLY needed to.

A person who evicts people from their home should never become a president of any nation. A person that evicts cancer patients should have a mob of people chasing them until they die

Yes but we wouldn’t have a problem right now because the Democrats seem to have their offenders confess & leave office when asked!

From my perspective as an outsider, Trump appears to be the most American American who ever America'd. He's everything I might think of when I think about "what an American is like", crammed into a single person who is all America, all the time.

The only reason anyone cares about "party" is because there is a large difference in the two party political policies. I'd dislike anyone a republican because their party supports rich>poor, white>other, straight>gay, men>women, etc. When Trump was a democrat, he was more socially liberal+still AH.

Trust me, most Republicans hate him as well. They just unfortunately hate the Dems more. How are we going to change that?? NOT a rhetorical question...

the things he was doing in the 70s as a landlord should have got him in jail then. He shouldn't have been building casinos in the 80s, he should have been stamping license plates.

About 90% of who I wanted in office in 2015 were republicans, about 50% of who I wanted out of office were democrat. Only considering non retired options, those numbers now are 0% and 45% respectively.

"oh but what if he cured cancer/aids/made it affordable for everyone to live" well then he wouldn't be Donald fucking trump because that man does NOT want everyone to live well

Trump's wikipedia page lists how he has switched political parties 7 times, according to his momentary whims and needs. Took him a while to settle with the only party that would have him.

The fact that Democrats largely ignored or shunned him is precisely why he switched parties to the Republicans, where his brand of Christofascist White Nationalism found much more fertile ground.

Amen! You put in print what I’ve been saying for years! I hated him back in the day when I saw him on the Donahue show & he has pretty clear L leaning perspectives. I’ve hated since he said if he were to run for office he’d do so as GOP candidate because they aren’t as smart.

Even most Canadians knew he was a shitty narcissist decades ago just from his real estate dealings and we were absolutely gobsmacked that Americans elected this puckered faced swine the first time, let alone again! Seriously. 😖

SOUP FORK!!! I kept repeating that insult out loud and concluded it is an insult even better than mother****r, ass***e, etc. To call someone a"soup fork" is the epitome of all insults. I genuflect in front of whoever came up with it and I hope I'll be allowed to use it from now on.

Trump was a Democrat and the democrats hated him and the republicans tried to shame the democrats for hating him! Basket of deplorables anybody?

my first recognition of him was at Miss America when he bragged he could grab a woman in the crotch. Retired and work a couple days at Ace Hardware in Colorado and I had a woman that was on a committee, approving construction in Texas. He was there and he grabbed and wrote multiple women.

Trumpstein was a Democrat, and wanted to run for president, but all his bankruptcies got him a bad name and he never floated to the top. Then he found out that he could get away with it all as a Republican. They were/are just too dumb to stop him, so in that party he floated to the top.

For the life of me I can’t understand how people, especially in the northeast, don’t remember what a piece of shit he was in the 80’s and 90’s. I was 4 when the 80’s ended and I knew he was a terrible person by the time Home Alone2 came out. He was everywhere being awful all the time.

I think I would hate him even more. Rethugs always think that others act as they do and they vote R for the brand without references to anything the R does or says or values. Dems on the other hand criticize their politicians all the time!

Indeed. An unexamined life is not worth living. Trump is a shitbag because he habitually makes the world around him pay for the love that he never received. He is the ultimate tragic poster child for what happens when you don’t take responsibility for your emotional & psychological baggage.

What's funny is #Republicans chose him to trap and manipulate Republicans. If they wanted to lose every agency EXCEPT the Department of Illegal Wars, and reinstate discrimination and death by preventable causes, they'd have to vote for the person that likes bad attention more than no attention.

Very true. Trump was once registered as Democrat but he would have been investigated and not permitted to run for ANY office under the Democratic Party. Republican Party on the other hand is a party of hypocrites and willing to accept Trump so much so that he hijacked the party for his own ends.

Maybe. But I would also say: I don't like him because he's a dictator, a narcissist, an incompetent politician, a felon, a notorious liar, a war criminal, a traitor to the people... AND because he's a Republican MAGAt.

I 1st heard about him in the 80s, when he was reveling in all the publicity he was generating by deliberately wrecking his 1st marriage. I thought he was scum back then, and my opinion only got lower the more I heard about him and from him. The man has 0 redeeming qualities.

Louder for the folks on the farm, louder for the “Bruce” Jenners, louder for the Mike “I wanna be surrounded by” Johnsons. I despised this creature in the 80’s as did most of the middle class. What happened?

Before 2016, I didn’t vote for Republicans, but it wasn’t something that I focused on all that much. Since then, I’ve slowly distanced myself from people I know who voted for Trump because I’m sickened by it and I believe it says something about their character.

I don't disagree, but I will point out that there's a whole lot of infrastructure dedicated to supporting & normalizing him. The people who support him have been conditioned to distrust anything outside of the right-wing narrative. That pump was primed long before trump. He just took advantage of it

Right-wing radio. Conservative columnists. Evangelicals & Christian Nationalists. FoxNews & all it's copycats. Right-wing spent generations crafting narratives that don't conform to norms, facts or reality. An unrelenting assault of propaganda. I grew up around it, but I had access to other ideas.

There are people who are firmly entrenched in conservative bubbles that don't give them much room to question such narratives. If their family, neighbors, church/pastors & co-workers all repeat the same BS as FoxNews, it's not easy to go against it. They react to outside voices like we do to FoxNews

I was a big Howard Stern fan, going back to the mid-90s and every time Trump was on the show I hated him. He was so phony and corny. Just a dork who got famous.

Trump's "allegiance" to any party lasts as long as they appear "useful" to him and suit his "agenda." 1987: First registered as a Republican. 2001: Registered as a Democrat. 2009: Switched back to the Republican Party. 2012: Re-registered as a Republican and has remained since.

Not true! He's been very consistently, since the mid 80's, following the Kremlin line. Code name Krasnov most powerful asset in international espionage ever yet still a dunce and a nonce too..

Yes I would hate him reguardless of what party he is affiliated with. I used to go to the casinos in A.C. quite a bit his was the only casino I never played in. Walked through them a few times and there was no one in them all the other casinos were packed.

He was an a$$ hole from the first day I heard about his a$$ hole moves as a slum lord, as a golf cheater, a creepy guy with Miss America contestants, a rapist and pedophile. And don’t even get me started about him being a draft dodger. President Bone Spurs was and is a royal league a$$ hole.

I am aware of an artist he cheated in the 80s. She decided it was easier to walk away than to pursue legal action. Media and Talk Shows made him their darling, and for the life of me, I will never understand why. Party is nothing; it is just who was more accepting of his sleezy grift.

Andrew Jackson, during the "Trail of Tears," the forced move of 60k Native Americans, killing thousands of them, hurt 0.47% of the population of the US. Trump has deported 600k, killing some of them, hurting 0.18% of the population of the US. Or in other words, Andrew Jackson says "hold my beer."

Andrew Jackson was a slave trader of thousands; undermined and destroyed the closest equivalent to the modern Federal Reserve, with predictable outcomes; and murdered a few people himself. Trump has been impeached more times than Jackson, but if you want more human suffering, Jackson brings it.

And a magnet that attracts the worst ppl imaginable. A pied piper of pedos, perves & predators. I don't much believe in biblical prophecies, but if I did, he'd fit the bill of anti-christ. What's I find so disturbing is that he has such a following whilst being devoid of any charm/intellect. 💯💩🤡

How about world history? He's prepared to nuke a civilization to keep himself out of jail. You can argue that Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin, and Mugabe at least THOUGHT they were doing what was right for their country.

Anybody that acted like, and did things like Trump, I would hate. Actually, because of him, and his actions, I hate republicans. For continuing to boost his ignorance.

Exactly. And the only reason we “hate” republicans is because they support him, indulge him, apologize for him, make excuses for him, and somehow refuse to admit he’s a corrupt, vile, dishonest, incompetent, ignorant, moronic, unstable, unhinged, greedy, lying pedophile and rapist.

It's a dumb question at the outset. It's also backwards. We hate the GOP because they embraced Trump instead of rejecting him, the way mainline Democrats rejected and still won't embrace Bernie. I mean, I have not been a GOP voter, but I didn't HATE the GOP until Trump.

The cute thing that the idiotic 'would you hate him if he was a Dem' is that he'd never have been allowed to run as a Dem, not to mention that those who pose the question would hate him instead of worship him, if he had a 'D' by his name. 😁

Let’s be clear he’s also not a Republican.. he’s a wanna be dictator/autocrat.. he didn’t run as President to represent the people he ran to enrich himself and family.. oh and Putin

I don’t care what his name is or what you call him. He is the worst president we’ve ever had in this country and I don’t care if he’s a republican a democrat or independent he was convicted of rape he was convicted of voter interference. He was convicted of fraud. He is a convict Hes an evil person.
