Once I heard Nate Colbert speak at a luncheon. He said he got up to bat one afternoon and the stadium erupted - he felt so humbled that he was getting so much applause and waved to the crowd - then he said that he looked at the scoreboard which said that man had landed on the moon... cracked me up

At the last game of the year last year, at their Triple A Syracuse Mets game, MY time there was ruined when I noticed the flag in center field, at half mast in respect for Ole Dead Charlie Kirk. FUCK the Mets.

I sure do regret thinking the privatization of launches was a grand idea. Sure, they got cheaper. But now we get a fully NASA mission about once every five years instead of all the shit they did during the shuttle era.

#Mets Couldn't see the game b/c the Mets business has signed on with streaming services. I was asked to pay more $$ to get the Mets Friday game. I can afford it, but damn if I will cave to the blood & money suckers of streaming services. I want a team that won't rob me b/c i'm a fan.

The footage on the screen was recorded earlier and edited together. The round balloons atop the capsule didn't deploy as quickly as depicted after splashdown. That means news of the successful landing could have circulated before then.
