Perhaps one should not discuss breaking laws on a 100% public social media website that we know the federal government is aware of and monitoring.

firm believer in people maintaining an inner-life. nobody should publish every thought that goes through their mind. even if they have a handful of people who they can privately talk with when they're most heated about something, i think imagination rots if one can't keep some thoughts to ones self.

Can they come after all of us if we’re all posting about breaking laws? As the 99% who has the overwhelming majority? Throw enough shit at the wall see what sticks, use their game against them. IDK, it’s just a thought.

Agreed. You shouldn't do that. If you're american especially. Meanwhile as a non american, I'm allowed to say things they aren't. Like saying I hope someone tears apart the detention facilities and free ICE's captives. It's not that different from saying break the concetration camps in the 40s.

It's so easy not to. You can openly wish awful things befall them. You can support a law for truth, reconciliation, and the guillotine. You can even opine on what a jury might condone. But the only reason to make a threat is that you aren't going to carry it out, because it's easier if you don't.
