My mental health has been worse because of COVID (Trump) and Trump supporters (Trump) and Trump (Trump). Working in an office full of people bitching about how Obama was ruining their lives was not the mental health salve these people think it was. Didn't need to hear the misogyny or the rest of it.
And this a bull shit propaganda piece. Did Jamie Dimon commission this? He needs bodies back in office so his commercial portfolio doesn’t collapse. Don’t worry, AI will replace all the workers so no mental health problems further machines. www.forbes.com/sites/bryanr...
rent eating you alive while you're stuck commuting is real, and the people who set housing and labor policy should hear it. that's your state and local reps, mostly. two minutes: https://mydemocracy.app
I'm forced in office while management micromanages me from cameras. My mental health is terrible. I get 10 days off a year including sick time. I don't even have anyone to cover my breaks or lunches. I get them but I'm often eating in office when all I want is a break out of the building (my prison)
Thanks, where I am now, is me escaping the last horrible trap. I was at a corporation where I was under valued & under paid. Now I am small business better paid but worse benefits. I'm almost afraid to see what's terrible at the next place I find. In my life I have never had a good for me job. Need🦄
They *did* reference this study of 588k people, so it's not just opinion. > remote work increases time spent alone, worsens mental well-being across multiple measures, and increases the use of mental health services and prescriptions. These effects were concentrated among individuals living alone.
