I wish his father had realized that in 2023 or early 2024! Just handing off an election to the next in line isn’t democracy. Even though she did the best she could with what she inherited, that Biden move bit Kamala hard. And now Dems are done with status quo voting. Yeah, we want real leadership.

Own progressive agenda, kids born 80 - 2010: •Grew up w/forever wars. STOP fighting. •Saw woke policies @ work, school, govt & military STOP culture wars. •Owe thousands in school STOP adding interest to injury debt debt. STOP loans

WHAT REPUBLICANS DID TO HUNTER BIDEN SHOULD TELL YOU EVERYTJING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR ENEMY. They couldn't find anything on Joe, so they went after his SON- KNOWING JOE HAD ALREADY LOST TWO CHILDREN. THAT. DIDN'T. STOP. THEM. no mercy.

We need more Mamdanis who stand in their power and operate locally in communities of people. If the federal government can't handle the business of governing, then what's the point of paying taxes to maintain a failed system where every branch and institution have been corrupted?

The older Dems believe their old ideas are working in the 21st century only they are not! The time has come to move them out of the way and fill their seats with modern day Democrats who will raise the bar and crush repubLIEcans into smithereens

The people do want a leader to lead them out of this mess they have created The people NEED a leader to rally them and make an organised all in, response to this dictatorship & the disgusting gop promoting this disaster Not a politician, but one who understands the length and breath of this disaster

It’s impossible for me to wrap my head around the FACT that our Democratic leadership in DC thinks we’re just going to forgive and forget about their total abdication and cowardice in fighting back against tRump! And they actually expected US to do the work for them! They are DONE in politics!!

“Out of touch” is being generous. The consultants and the current Dem leadership are stuck in the 18th century. They have no clue how to connect with the younger generations, and don’t bother trying to figure it out.

Exactly, theyre so arrogant. Jaime Harrison was complaining recently about socialists taking over the party recently, that theres so many people who worked hard to build the party into what it is and how we shouldnt run on a democrat ticket. The audacity of these corporate turds is unbelievable.

A compare and contrast exercise. Hunter Vs The Orange Pedo. Hunter: The first sentence - use of a subjunctive. Trump: I likes to eat crayons.

My only quibble is with that last line. People want to be heard and represented. Mega-donors have the microphone. More registered voters stayed home in '24 than voted for Trump. We still need to remind people that their voices are their votes.

Concise and well articulated. Status quo Democrats, corporate Democrats, AIPAC-owned Democrats are no longer acceptable to their voters. This all-or-nothing attempt at a power grab by the GOP needs to be met with a full-force reaction and it's not going to be pretty. Milquetoasts step aside.

From a couple weeks ago, redemption arc story in reply to a guy with Johnny Cash as his profile pic:

I’m grateful that Hunter Biden is killing it on X with authenticity, gratitude, honesty, intelligence, and wit. And he sure knows Johnny Cash!

This country is tired of being managed, led or anything else where WE aren't allowed to decide things for ourselves! Unless we impose our will on others, harm or endanger them - or threaten or try to - we need to be allowed our LIBERTY & FREEDOM! Not as 'democrats' or 'republicans' but as AMERICANS!

Do you honestly believe that all those strong Dems who won their primaries in NY last night are somehow going to be bested by NY Republicans in November? You might want to think again.

Hunter made some mistakes, drugs and alcohol but he was targeted by Trump and his thugs. A couple generations have had the same problem. Don jr has made videos while high on cocaine, his daddy takes so many drugs that he is awake all night and falls asleep during meetings. Our media sucks.

#4 Cost of living is everything ﹍ 𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 I'd be careful about promising to fix that in 2 years. Right now, we don't know 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙪𝙘𝙝 $ is missing from the treasury. So, I'd focus on increasing revenue from some place 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 poor/middle class taxpayers. Otherwise, it's like promising no homework

We should be running the original James Carville gets Clinton elected strategy, "It's the economy, stupid." As much as we have the higher ground morally on social issues, the ECONOMY is a universal concern: left, right, & center & trump's proven complete incompetence & lack of empathy for citizens.

We're reclaiming the party of FDR. Progressive. So popular he won 4 times and Republicans then decided that the presidency should be limited to 2 terms. What is the establishment party? Corporate democrats? Supporting a kinder gentler oligarchy? Time for the old guard to move over.

I'm with #HunterBiden until the last sentence. We do not want to be "led." We want to be heard, consulted, and treated as PARTNERS in the process... as COLLABORATORS. Politicians are supposed to work for us. Be led by us, not the other way around. We employ them.

And their share no more waiting for trickle down entire lives have been wasted waiting. Eat the rich because they ate the rest of us why they're so fat.

I didn’t realize Hunter knew about ordinary Americans. He had some difficult times, but President Biden & Dr. Biden raised him well. Trump is 80 years old & he doesn’t know anything about ordinary Americans. We cannot elect anyone who lives in mansions or penthouses!

We the People need and want: Government of the People By the People For the People! We the People want and need the leadership of the Democratic Party to get off their asses and push for CHANGE! No more same old same old from you old farts! No more caving to the Corporate Overlords!

Do you want people to be organized to do things that represent what you want done? Because none of that's gonna happen without someone doing leadership. Leadership isn't just part of toxic dictatorship theatre. It's a necessary component of getting anything done as a society.

Your representative represents the collective, not just you. You don't get veto power in a democracy. And even once you have democratic consensus that something should be done you don't have a plan or action unless someone makes decisions that other people follow. Action requires organization.

Leadership involves service to others not self. It says no to bribery, segregation, party before people. It holds to acceptance of the diversity that now makes up the majority of the population. They think to divide by picking one over all others in religion as well as color. Vote progressive

He isn't running for anything. He is a regular citizen expressing his opinions, which are valid takes. He's done some stuff, but that doesn't invalidate his opinions

No argument that his options are opinions. But he has shown himself to be racist, misogynist with no interest in the welfare of others. No reason to believe his options are worthy of anyone’s attention but his money buys him influence.

The voters want to be respected not lied to.If you get into office and don’t even attempt to fulfill your promises then don’t expect to be reelected.I doubt I’m the only voter that feels this way.I love that Mamdani is making a true effort to actually KEEP his promises. All democrats need to do this

The Post WWII Dinosaurs have totally lost the plot. They need to get out of the way and let younger, fresher ideas grow. The DNC has gotten far too comfy with the 'Status Quo' - all the perks and goodies like Insider stock trading and legalized bribery (lobbyists) etc. that go with the job.

He is not wrong. Part of why we are here lies with democrats allowing the manipulation and phoniness propagate throughout politics on both sides. Lobbyists manipulating to get their way. The other issue is the electorate, their willingness to accept any sin as long as their bugbear is addressed. 🙄

I am less worried about independents. For too long it has been two parties, and both have failed. To me, maybe more independents need to be elected. The party machine is now wholly focused on protecting the party machine, and not the voters who elect them. So maybe the change needed is independents🤔

Independent voters are a weird spectrum, but they sway elections when successfully courted. Because they're a wide spectrum, focus groups get a lot of consideration.

If you want to lead a party about equality, you have to show you are for equality. You have to show you are one of your people and will advocate for every single one of them. Very few politicians have shown it. They've gone the other way and supported bigots and predators.

Trust me, nobody has stopped. If you bother to read up on project 2025, part of the attack plan is to over whelm the country with bullshit. The fan blowing across the USA has been full of shit since his inauguration. And more shit is coming. Trust me.

I don't think people want to be led so much as they want to be listened to, actually, for real. Not that "I hear you, but..." bullshit they usually get from the Democrats. They're tired of being talked down to and brushed off. Mamdani's whole platform was just repeating what people asked him for.

Mamdani's latform is not just repeating what he hears, but actually doing things that they want, which is what a good leader does. People do want good, strong, honest leaders. It's human nature.

Thank you for stating the truth… People who have gone through hell and back should not be dismissed I do appreciate Hunter Biden’s perspective Again, thank yoi

Hunter needs to get on a few Dem teams, or at least into party planning/leadership if he won't run for office (which, would you?!) He's been watching his dad for decades and is sober and mature enough to have assimilated the mood of the nation's liberal voters.

Gillibrand is one of my senators. I wrote to her expressing my opposition to the Take Care of Veterans Act and her office sent me a response thanking me for supporting the "Guard VA Benefits Act" that she was "proud to cosponsor". Yes, I know it was probably an intern but it speaks 1/2

Or gaslighting. Yesterday I replied to dccc that I don't want to be a recipient of her personalized fundraising emails. This morning I received yet another, thanking me for my support. I noted this, as I unsubscribed, and promptly received an email "Three Things You Need to Know." Nah.

to the disconnect. Add to it her full support of Israel and AIPAC funding. If they put up a good candidate to primary against her, I'll gladly vote against her.

I used to write to her pretty often but I have given up. The only thing I'll write will be the name of her opponent in her next primary in 4 years.

Brilliant, insightful post! Let’s all hope Democratic leadership listens and either steps aside or changes direction! Decisive leadership and persuasion is required not just repeating old and tired promises!

Perhaps Mr. Biden can have accounts on both platforms. I agree it must bother the musk nazi clan a little, but the trade off is engaging on a platform that should be dead and bankrupt. All right wing propagandists will get bored of each other if all the leftist left x. Boycott x.

Well I left it it for the reasons you said but I understand why some heavy hitters remain. If he notices the engagement on here perhaps he will start an account. But it’s possible he posts himself and it’s too much to keep up several accounts.

Holy shit, he's spitting some truths, but will the Democrat High Command listen. We've already seen Hakeem Jeffries crying about the DSA winning nominations in New York and attacking Mamdani. All they care about are their donors

"Hold your nose and vote blue no matter who! What else ya gonna do, vote Fascist?" As if I should feel guilty of demanding better of Democrats DURING A PRIMARY. Trans rights are human rights. Palestinian genocide is still genocide. And strongly worded letters can still piss right off.

Overall it's pretty hard to endorse the current system where 90% of House seats are safe seats and relatively low turnout primaries (a total of, say, 70k votes) determine who serves in congress, sometimes for decades.
