Spider-Man will be "dealing with — for lack of better terms — street-level crime, as opposed to world-ending events" in Brand New Day, according to Kevin Feige. https://bit.ly/40sh6vy

And I’m sure it will be over the top, as were the Raimi and Webb films despite also focusing on street level villains compared to the cosmic level threats that the rest of the Avengers have to deal with. I want to see Spidey fight Tombstone or The Chameleon, not punch Gods in the face.

You like the other Spider-Man movies, and yet the premise described above, which is the exact same premise as the Raimi and Webb movies, sounds boring to you? That’s the type of double think I’d expect from someone with both a Ukrainian flag and an Israeli flag in their handle.

Remembering that fan comic 10ish years ago where Spidey, fed up with the corruption in Oscorp and the NYPD, reveals his identity to Jamison and demands an anonymous column in the Daily Bugle. "I can beat up purse snatchers all day... how do you beat up an evil corporation?"
