Palestinians can't wait much longer. There are no jobs, bombs daily and still extremely difficult to find people willing to support families desperately seeking help. I will post for 4 of them later please help. I just joined as threads was censoring them

You aren’t. Especially when the semites are the Palestinian Arabs themselves. And doubly especially when actual Jewish people (like Noam Chomsky) stand with us to call for a free Palestine! 💚❤️🤍🖤

This! Just like Athabaskan is a language group AND a group of people, so is Semitic. Arabic & Hebrew have similar words like Salam and Shalom. Abrahamic religions trace their lineage to the biblical patriarch Abraham, and include Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

That's because Palestinians are already free to live in Israel/Palestine, as long as they aren't trying to kill the Jews 20% of the Israeli are the same Palestinian Arabs as the Gazans they just arent supporting/part of Hamas or any Palestinian movement that tries to free the land from living Jews.

October the 7th didn’t actually matter, Israel would’ve eventually found another excuse to launch a full scale invasion. This all started in 1947, with Zionists as the catalyst and the perpetrators. Netanyahu already admitted the Hannibal directive was the plan all along.

Nonsense, Hamas needs the conflict just as much as the right-wing extremists in the Israeli government. Both have fascist ideologies that need hate for their power. Anyone who sides with Hamas is a fascist, you should be aware of that.

I understand where you’re coming from, but there is an incredibly important distinction you need to make. Hamas’ fascism was borne of oppression, it was ISRAEL’S fascism that led the situation to where it is today. (See 1947, the Nakba as the beginning of all of this.) It’s ALL Israel’s fault.

Israel would do 10/7 level of stuff weekly and held thousands of hostages as political prisoners, many small children, for years. I guess Palestinians were just supposed to keep sending strongly worded letters? Political violence wrecks lives but let's not pretend it's in a vacuum.

So you vote for the strongly worded letters, which still got them killed and kidnapped en masse. What did they achieve? Idk man, fighting back, making it matter to Israel for once. The onus to end the violence has always been on Israel who has a chokehold over Gaza and started this with the nakba.

I love how up in arms certain libs have become after the two Israel diplomats were killed overnight, despite them screaming at protesters for the last 18 months for pushing antisemitic views, or not demanding Hamas releasing the hostages, or doing protest votes. Wtf do you think would happen next?

i realize this is an entirely seperate sentence yes, but the way they terminate palestinian accounts simply asking for help in a non spammy way without a second thought, but REFUSE to ban chids like jesse singal is infuriating

The problem is the deluge of accounts asking for help in a very-much spammy way, such that any genuine accounts get written off as part of that deluge. That, and scams exploiting well-meaning folks trying to help in times of crisis are as old as the hills.

I don't know of a good answer here besides emphasizing donations to aid orgs active in Gaza (UNRWA, UNICEF, MSF/DWB, HEAL, PCRF, WCK, etc.). Obviously still help out e.g. folks you personally know, but otherwise working through orgs dedicated to helping as many people as possible is most effective.

Unfortunately, I don't think it will be so. No nation is and/or will do anything to stop the genocide, so it is just a matter of time until the Palestinians are spoken of like the native tribes of America: people who were exterminated for their land and resources. I want to be wrong, so badly.

Are we doing that thing where we are going to spend 50 replies arguing semantics over the meaning of a single word or is there genuinely some information you want to enlighten me with?

I agree. No one is going to go to war with Israel over this. The bombing and starvation will continue. You can pray, but it's just a matter of time before. The palestinians and Gaza are completely destroyed. Their only hope is that the surrounding Arab nations lets them escape.

Judith Butler calls this "ungrievable". No need to care about Palestinian lives if we decide they're all ready dead. The forces of genocide are very pleased whenever someone says this. They want us all to give up and decide it's too late. It's not an inevitable fate. Palestinians dying is a choice

Lol what? Either I’m doing a bad job of communicating this or you’re doing a bad job of reading it, hard to say which. The Indigenous people of North America (Turtle Island) are still here and would be justifiably angry to hear you talk about them like that.

Those young people were targeted, probably because the shooter identified them as Jewish. The Jewish are targeted because Zionists insist that all Jews are responsible for Zionist atrocities.

Zionists use Jews as human shields. Jews suffer. Caitlin's comment is almost a year old, but events keep proving it.

Eretz Tzion (the land of Israel) & Jews are inseparable and intertwined with over 3500 years of written history. For anyone, including the self deprecating Jews, to deny the connection is to attempt to deny history or worse attempt to reconstruct it. Should we be killed for that ? #AmYisraelCHAI

Modern humans have populated those lands for around 120,000 years; other hominids date to 1.5 million years. The line must be drawn somewhere. Zionists invoke times of myth. To deny that Palestine was populated when the Zionist invasion began is to deny history.

For centuries, all creeds shared Palestine. In the 19th century, Zionists invaded. Resistance continues. The image below is from a document by the US delegation to the 1919 Paris conference. The Zionists must have been pretty obnoxious. history.state.gov/historicaldo...

It must be remembered that since 1945 the Arab states in particular have been against a two-state solution. There could have been an independent Palestine as early as the 1970s. There will probably not be a free one for a long time, Hamas is not a fan of democracy and human rights.

that would be wonderful but, how? the area is almost completely annihilated, and the remaining palestinians are - as we speak - being murdered and it seems that soon those left will be driven from it i just cannot imagine a future in which a free palestine filled with palestinians exists
