I disagree. The conventional wisdom was that Roe v Wade was the third rail of politics, because the backlash would be massive. Instead, 43% of women voted for Trump after Roe was overturned. The GOP is running a blitzkrieg offense, and Dems are wrongly trying to hold the line.

The Biden Admin reversed the DeVos changes and the Trump's 2nd Term under McMahon has been focused on dismantling the dept and erasing DEI. So they haven't turned back to this...yet. Also DOGE fired everyone who knows how to do rulemaking so they are just tossing out executive orders.

I do not think it’s that. I think people cannot wrap their head around a repeal of Title IX just like they could not wrap their heads around electing a convicted rapist or overturning Roe. It seems inconceivable that a Trump court would say “schools should decide what sports they offer.”
