The USA have a private sector healthcare system, which according to capitalists, is subject to the market economy therefore shouldn’t the drugs companies be in competition to give consumers the lowest possible prices?

Two problems. We Grant drug companies legal monopolies called patents which prevents competition. Second, generics was designed to create competition but there's only one or two companies making a generic in most cases. The system is literally designed to prevent competition.

You telling me that the capitalist have lied and that companies don’t like competition? Why hasn’t anyone exposed this? Surely billionaires want to make sure people have access to affordable healthcare…

I've known crackheads. Say what you want about crackheads, but they are super focused. And they know how to seal a deal. If Trump had to be reduced to a drug, it would have to be jenkem. For those who don't know:

I think Trump overestimates other countries wanting to pay more for their own stuff to ‘help Americans’ He’s spent the last 6 months threatening to invade countries, calling them names, threatening them with illegal tariffs…and he thinks they’ll be, “whatevs, we want you to pay less for drugs”

You may already know this but he has lots of YouTubes out. I only recently discovered him there and I now get my daily laughs from watching them. You are right, he has a very gentle demeanor; his humour is clean and subtle. He is a great storyteller.

So he’s demanding that we pay more for American drug companies products? I am sure there are far more eloquent people than me that will suggest a course of action for him as a reply

She doesn’t bother me. 🧐I suspect having stage parents who control or market your identity, makes authenticity hard. When my niece was a little girl, she was a huge fan of Jojo. It’s colorful & pretty, and contained the words I searched. 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m GenX and learning that memes & gifs are fun, for me.

Glad to see comedians calling out the absurdity of Trump saying he will lower drug prices, calling out numbers like a thousand percent. He could have just left Biden’s deal in place.
