Grassley would probably be mostly boring in are day to day lives. He strikes me more of a pre-trump era dude who would preach normalcy and unity blah blah blah. Sure, there'd be tax cuts and bad shit but it'd be like Bush 2006-2008.

It is REALLY bleak but I do think JD Vance would be better - both in that I don't think he'd nuke Iran and do things to purposefully destroy the economy, and because I think he's a wet hot dog devoid of charisma and the cult would be convinced he helped get Trump impeached and wouldn't support him

Democrats impeached him, TWICE. Republicans, w the senate majority, refused to remove him Republicans can join Dems at any point to stop this, but they’re thrilled that people think they have nothing to do with this. They can keep the majorities in November if ppl can be convinced to blame Dems
