The reverse is also true , no politician or economist (who understands the importance of demographic dividends) would ever recommend that a country leaves a LARGE trading bloc on its own doorstep ❗️ That makes no sense at all … does it 🤨. #Brexit #DemographicDividend

Obvious Helipad in the neighbouring field an unintended additional juxtaposition for everything wrong in this country. Uk politics….all bought & paid for by the rich right wing elite & foreign agitators. All our problems come from those arriving by private jet & helicopter.

Farmers almost exclusively voted for it, then bitched that their subsidies disappeared. Fuck em.. Reaping what they literally sowed And even now they wont admit they were wrong, they will say Brexit wasn't done right

The majority of farners reported negative impacts. The transition has led to severe labor shortages, increased red tape for exports to the EU, and a phasing out of dependable EU subsidies in favor of complex, under-funded domestic environmental schemes

Farmers were stupid enough to back Fartrage and now they suffer. It is a shame as I'm sure not every farmer did, but they are tarnished now and need to speak up more, like this.

The ailing patient cannot be healed by changing the doctors but by eliminating the root cause of the illness: BREXIT Six Prime Ministers failed to cure the long-term British malaise, will the coming PM do away with the elephant in the room?

Brexit was confirmation there are more stupid, racist Britains than not. No clue what they were voting for, just that there'd be less brown faces in their Towns & Villages; they hoped! Still, at least they have their "Cuntry" back and they can squeeze the word Sovereignty into a sentence.

It is staggering that 10 years on, no one in Britain has a clue why Brexit happened, nor that it was orchestrated by the US Heritage Foundation, with the help of the Austrian Nazi FPÖ party, who have a contract of co-operation with Putin The aim was to destabilise the EU & strengthen the Far Right

As US friend woke me with the news. He's a political scientist. I bawled my head off, then we set out to figure why. I told him we'd know in November if trump won, as it would be the same reason because the same people would be behind it. Well...We were right.

Love your work @ledbydonkeys.org fyi @zdboren.bsky.social. Farming in Australia is on its knees too @artistaffame.bsky.social @kelpieunicorns.bsky.social when you know who owns our farms. Of course, Australia has no land/money for housing, right? Those *poor* farmers need their diesel rebate.

oh we have a clue. the ones that don't have a clue are the ones who also don't understand why starmer is so unpopular. unfortunately they comprise nearly all the news media in this country, and therefore anyone left who actually believes them. (too many, I fear)

People are still clueless that Brexit, Trump, AI, growing billionaire class, climate change denial and more are parts of the same thing - neoliberal takeover of the world. The hydra of neoliberalism has many heads, and we need to cut them all of and sear the wound with fire, figuratevely speaking.

Oh and casual racism. I asked my old manager (of a multi million £ company) what would be best for the company and jobs, although I already knew. He said "OH we're clearly better off in the EU but, I'm voting out because I don't like foreigners and where the money goes"....... 🤦🤦🤦

Been broken for a long time, but this was a case of shooting ourselves in the foot. And face. And heart. Things have got much shitter with Brexit, and allowed Fartage to be transformed from a vile, fascist spiv nobody into a vile, fascist spiv nobody with a dangerous following.

52% voted the leave and 48%wanted to stay.... The individual countrys are still visit with A British black passport. Note to British travellers learn the language the UK expects people to know English

Before Brexit i could send an expensive piece of equipment to Europe for repair for around £400, with two pieces of paperwork (we are talking something on a pallet worth £50k), just recently the same item took 120 emails, pages and pages of paperwork and cost close to £4K, it took me 5 months

Austerity, Brexit & corrupt Conservatives all broke Britain. Osborne Cameron Johnson & Farage are responsible. It was a treasonous act for personal gratitude. Not many years ago it would have been "off with their heads".

The Labour Government prefers being impaled on a fence topped with spikes than jumping off into higher economic growth & GDP, lower levels of non-EU immigration, queue-less travel within the EU plus the right to work, live & retire in 27 countries. Go figure...........🤔

Russia has been working at destroying democracies since the start of the Cold War. Putin is bringing it all to fruition. He is on the verge of collapse himself but he is taking much of the free world with him.

10 years on, the very same politicians who caused the Brexit mess say nobody can dare try to fix it. We say enough. It's time for a bold new deal with Europe to make Britain safer, richer and stronger. Watch our new film here ⬇️ youtu.be/ihdhBLT6YYM

Thing with that is that the UK had a lot of special privileges within the EU that they will never be able to renegotiate..So it's go back & admit total defeat+ rejoin under the same rules as everyone else or stay in limbo between the USA & the EU knowing full well that it's the USA that got u there.

You cant corrupt a country thats not running. You cant spend tax money thats not coming in. The working poor & middle class run this country. Not the handful of trump & regime, oligarchy & what used to be our gov. We The People outnumber them.

Russia paid billions to fund the "grassroots" campaign that drove the Brexit. When Putin is defeated and Russia is ready to join us in the year 2026, or maybe 2027, we will find out how much they committed to creating chaos. They muddy up the waters. They destabilize countries. It was evil spite.

I remember seeing a lot of magical thinking around Brexit, that the government didn't need to do anything to handle the Customs delays it would cause because "the free market will find a solution". Pure emotional thinking and zero rationality.

I might push the blame further back. George Osborne's lingering austerity programme broke Britain. Brexit was a singularly pointless and self destructive way of lashing out against it.

All because two Harvard professors’ faulty study had an Excel error but world finance and their servants in government in the UK and US love starving the proles, and used it to justify austerity when the opposite policy was in fact required and effective. finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-...

Or you could push further back to decades of neoliberalism that led to both the financial crisis and the response to it. Ultimately Thatcher’s ideological framework of market knows best and no such thing as society is at the root of many of our problems today.

Farage and his Russian backers used ra e baiting to convince the people of Britain that people who don't look like them or worship as they do are the problem. Another example of poor people being made to believe that other poor people are their problem. Worked for Hitler, Farage and Trump.

What i don't understand is the gap between people realising how awful Brexit has been and Farage's popularity. Why isn't this failure sticking to him? Why do folks still believe Fag Ash is an agent of change?
