That is a horrific truth about this country. The way social media has been weaponized to hurt the victims further making it harder cross that social stigma that follows surviving someone who's emotionally abusive and able to deceive people. I have no doubt of their strength or courage.

It happens when you’re a victim of partner violence also. And trying to report violence towards their kids results in accusations of retaliation or spitefulness. It’s always about those with more power protecting each other’s backs even when the harassment comes from their trad wives.

I know someone who is one of those survivors and has been on all the shows/Super Bowl commercial etc. I’ve thought much about the victims, especially as things have intensified, new images surface daily and redacted files are posted daily and I can’t stop worrying the toll this is taking on them.

This reflection makes me think of this favorite Rumi verse. - Nobody wishes this type of pain on anybody, but goodness can be the ultimate affect, as we work through our traumas, and heal ourselves.

They are so strong it’s amazing. I’m sure they receive horrible onslaught of online harassment. It’s awful.
