Now that precedent can be overturned, a Democratic leaning SCOTUS can overturn today’s decisions in 2029. So we won’t have to wait long. And all today’s appalling rulings do is energize Democrats to vote.

So Trump and Patel must have dirt on those six justices. How many do you suppose visited Epstein Island? Or have something fishy in their background? This majority of Supreme Court justices just keeps giving Trump more and more power while leaving less fand less for the lower courts.

I don’t think you need 4 additional justices. Alito and Thomas could be impeached for corruption. Robert’s might also be in that boat, and we could always renew the scrutiny of Kavanaugh’s past behavior. That would get us to between a 5-4 and 7-2 majority. But 9-4 or 11-2 would be fine with me. 😉

I really hope something works but a lot of us around the world are seeing how the Supreme Court Justices are being bought and paid for by lobbyists and racists. The system won't work as long as each judge can be paid by people wanting a legal decision. Tough situation sadly.

I also think 2 Supreme Court justices should be replaced every 2 years ensuring each Presidency has an equal number of justices appointed (in the event of a death or resignation an appointment only fills out remainder of a term which of course means term limits)

This is 1000% the top priority. The courts, especially SCOTUS, have right-wing, white supremacist majorities that have no hesitation to subvert democracy if they don’t like the people who win elections.

I have thought about this for a long time and I can actually see the House voting for an impeachment, but I just can't see the votes coming from the Senate to remove them. It would be nice if they would step down from embarrassment.

When you can predict most of the Supreme Court’s decisions even though you don’t have any legal expertise, the Supreme Court is broken and is functioning as an arm of the Republican Party. We must expand the Court to rebalance it, or it will destroy any other reforms we try to legislate.

The reason is the defendants aren’t white.

Removal would require a massive and very unlikely change in Senate composition, but impeachment in the House is totally possible. Sometimes history requires that the facts be investigated and recorded. And who knows? Maybe the facts create the conditions necessary for the required sea change.

Every ruling from the MAGA court has to be vacated and retried. I have no idea how it could be done, but we can't just let all this garbage stand. No doing so would be like letting the Confederacy's court decisions dictate US legal precedence after the civil war. It's just absurd and evil.
