Just how does attorney-client privilege work when it's a staff attorney advising on the constitutionality of a policy? Is their legal opinion permitted to be hidden from the public? So, is a departmental head a "client" of a staff lawyer? Seems like all that stuff should be public record.

I'm not a lawyer and I've never been served with a search warrant, but I always assumed it was an actual piece of paper with the signature of a judge on it.I guess all those cop shows are wrong. So all it takes is a dingleberry signing an email.... Good to know.

One of the best arguments for a warrant is that’s it would protect agents from lethal force otherwise it’s just a home invasion.
