Why? Because SCOTUS knows they cannot enforce any of their rulings. They depend on “norms” and folks following the Rule of Law- but they’ve unleashed a beast which will devour them and they know it. Well done, you fucking idiots. Reminder: Trump should be rotting in prison this very day.

So….Congress & the SC have both given up oversight of the enforcement branch. We essentially have one branch of government making things up as they go and the other two frozen in headlights.

Is that the reason or does the Law favor The Con? SCOTUS reports appear right on. Seems Trump spent 4 years in serious preparation as he fought off the horse flies. Ur reporting is intriguing but likely incorrect.

Call it what it is: post-democracy. Elections continue. Law remains. But the content is gone. The state now governs through speed, secrecy, and domination—legalized by a #SupremeCourt that no longer restrains but conceals. #Politics #Socialism #Marxism #Democracy #SCOTUS #Fascism #GeneralStrike

system-logic.orgBeyond the Rule of Law: Supreme Court Quietly Authorizes Trump’s Authoritarian OffensiveIn its shadow docket rulings on mass deportations and federal worker firings, the Court effectively legitimizes the consolidation of executive power. The U.S. Supreme Court is no longer functioning…

The Nazi "Supreme Court" in the Third Reich also wanted to avoid confrontation with "the Führer" by doing everything that suited and pleased "the Führer". Poor, poor, ruined America!

This is the most ethically-compromised SCOTUS in United States history. The fact that Trump always begins with two "yes" votes for everything he brings to the Court should be an indicator that Justices Thomas and Alito are the most compromised.

…Christ. They’re rewriting the fucking US Constitution FFS. Recent opinions have left me reeling. These are people’s lives at stake and they’re bowing to this weirdo? It’s disgusting. Decorum and precedent it the window. Of all the people who could be above the law, it ended up being this wizard 🤦🏻‍♂️

Of course they don’t want to confront him. They gave him the power to do just about anything he wants to. They’re already questioning Coney Barrett’s loyalty. It just a matter of time.

In other news, @nytimes.com editors seemed to take pains to keep Trump's "dictator" stump-speech fantasies off the front page, but he isn't exactly grateful. (Surprise!)

Trump: "These newspapers are really no different than a highly paid political operative. And it has to stop. It has to be illegal ... it just cannot be legal."

The SC IS absolutely fucking useless. the only reason he’s not attacking them like other judges is because they bend the knee because they have no actual interest in upholding the constitution where they would’ve disqualified this rapist and felon from even running for president. Sad. #fucktrump
