I grew up in Swedeland Minnesota... ya by golly.. ya betcha... The cars you get in sweden are not the cars they exported to the US.. I have worked on Volvos... and may foreign cars... I'd do Japanese 1st..

Yeah, the Japanese export the same reliable cars they sell domestically! I have five vehicles. Four are made in Japan. The fifth is my Nightster, which doesn’t give me any trouble either. It is old enough to vote, as is my FJ.

I hated driving Volvos had one in HS and college. DL, 244 DL, and 760. First car I bought right out of college was Acura Vigor then moved to Toyota 4 Runner and have been there ever since.

The Volvos were great in SoCal but in Montana it’s Toyota Ford and Dodge just because the roads and weather is tough. Yes I know Volvo and Saab are cars made in Sweden but it’s a different type of tough weather.

The movie Crazy flew under the radar when it was released. Dudley was great in it. I loved it from the start. Everytime I see a Volvo I hear that line.Volvo could spend 1B and it would not be as memorable!

Seriously. Why didn't he go with the Volvo 240 DL wagon? He could have still strapped the rocking chair to the roof and the jump on the gravel road would have had a much smoother landing.😁

I loved my 1990. I only ever replaced the battery and brakes. I wouldn't have gotten rid of it but it was a convertible and it started leaking. I should've just replaced the top but it cost more than I paid for the car in an auction lol.

Just like if Walter White lived in Europe he would have received medical treatment under universal healthcare and Breaking Bad would never have happened.

Yeah but if you're thinkin' of taking the tribe cross country, this is the wagon you should be using, the Wagon Queen Family Truckster. You think you hate it now, but wait until you drive it.

I'm just trying to imagine why Detective Inspector Clark Griswold would be going across country to solve a murder a snow laden town in the middle of winter. Even more so why in a shocking twist Rusty, his son turns out to be the murderer because of his incestuous affair with his desert cousin.

My parents had the family caravan and the cool car for work. My dad had a work van so the van sat unless we went somewhere with a parent then it was the people mover.

You could actually get it with two foldable reversed seats in the back of the 245 station wagon as an option. So a sort of 7-seater with the two optional seats for smaller people/children. Not ideal though, taking up storage space and going in and out through the back.

That was my point - they did if course make a seven seater. But yes, to reclaim the lost luggage space taken up by using the third row of seats you’d need to fit a roof rack.
