Another way of looking at it: "Half of Republicans still strongly support destroying our democracy and betraying all claimed ethical and moral principles just to own the libs."

Our challenge: Continuing to encourage them to move toward reality and decency, and welcome them when they arrive, while never forgetting that their gullibility, selfishness, bigotry, and/or astounding lack of judgement is what got us here.

I think this sort of perpetual maximal cynicism about Republican voters on here is counterproductive. Not only do the data we have show that many Republicans *don’t* worship Trump, we also have good evidence that some of the disillusioned have outright flipped.

These numbers would doubtless make me feel better if 100% of the Republicans I know actually said they strongly disapproved of Trump all along. They just conveniently found a reason to hate the Democratic candidate more.🤷‍♀️

Aren't those who participate in YouGov polls self-selected? How can this be representative of a random sampling of the population?

It's amazing that their(R) polling as high as it is...hard to believe the people knowingly support what they are selling

I'm noticing a trend in media where the top line seems unnecessarily softened, feel like that's a trivial thing to fix.
