Not too hard to endorse when you know what to expect from demographics. Amused that the white wealthy pushed one of @mayor.nyc.gov picks over the finish line So much for the working class schtick🙄 Would be more impressed if @mayor.nyc.gov had endorsed a winner in 12. bsky.app/profile/blue...
@chrislhayes.bsky.social @mayor.nyc.gov Your narrative vs truth Espaillat won the Bronx by 28 points winning Black/Hispanic & lower-income voters. Chevalier dominated Manhattan by 8 points & gained ground in higher-income areas. Younger, high-income left leaning white voters secured her win.
The Democrats need to Learn and change. The old dinosaurs have to go away., cbwrong.blogspot.com/2026/06/why-...
Goldman was polling at 19 points down against “another Democrat” last September and lost by even more than that. He’s been deeply unpopular with his own constituents (like me!) for a lot of reasons.
He looks great on cable news but in reality Goldman has a reputation of ignoring constituents and voting with Republicans on awful crypto bills. His “tough on crime” attitude does not go over well in our very progressive neighborhoods. He’d be a better fit for a more moderate district like the NY11.
