Busted. Anas Sarwar approached Reform’s leader asking to form an alliance against the SNP. Source: Reform’s leader.

Lots of pushback on my doubt, and certainly some good posts suggesting it may well be true, but it still feels very odd and a huge miscalculation if correct. A bigger miscalculation than I'd think Sarwar capable of making.

Yeah. That kind of thing doesn’t get proposed leader to leader (at a public event, even?). It gets floated quietly and privately and deniably. Not convinced. Wouldn’t trust Swofford on anything else, not trusting him on this.

Yes, of course. But some backroom deals are more plausible than others. You can't just say 'backroom deals are done, therefore...' and use that as proof of a secret arrangement to try to relocate Scotland to the planet Venus.

So vote Lib Dem 🔶️ Lib Dems want more devolution for Scotland and respect the SNP. They understand there needs to be change in how Scotland is represented at Westminster

The SNP will happily form an alliance with Greens though, even though they don’t support women lesbians or girls and will happy take their rights away (check the manifesto) they don’t know what a woman is - forming an alliance with greens a true misogynistic party.

Trans women are not women - biologically they are men. In order to become trans women they first have to be MEN . So if you know what a man is you know what a woman is. Being pro woman does not make me anti trans. Misogynistic much??

One analysis noted Sarwar gave a kind of “non-denial denial” when asked about working with Reform. No reports this is true I suspect it’s SNP hogwash

I'm wary about this in the absence of other evidence. After all, it's in Offord's direct interest to put people off voting Labour. His party isn't going to beat the SNP but is trying to wheedle its way into becoming the official opposition.

This has been clipped so short that you don’t allow time for the answer, but not so short that it doesn’t include the word “basically” which means “in effect”.

Reform’s leader is not a trustworthy source of anything. Did you hear the utterly bike joke about George Michael which was both homophobic and necrophilic and probably racist? Utterly vile. The man can not be trusted in any way.

The problem with your bluster is that A) Labour’s policies are closest to Reform’s than any other party B) Labour is a particularly dishonest party so no-one is going to believe its denials even if true C) Just the fact that this is believable is devastating for Labour, and very revealing.

Utter nonsense. @SNP stop showing how worried you are about reform by posting lies by a reform leader, you're better than this. I need to trust what a party says if I'm going to vote for them.

Is this the most excited John has ever been?! surely a contender after that whole scorned lover scene with Lord Awful and dumbass sorry Anas

Labour have an 'anybody but SNP' policy so it shouldn't come as a surprise. Offord and Sarwar are very similar actually. Both hard-line unionist millionaires, both put kids into private education and both oppose taxing the wealthier more

Labour are dead as a party. they had their chance for rebirth and they killed it bec they cared more about cozying to the wealthy elites their founder despised and now they will pay the price
