ICE could go out dressed in a typical law enforcement uniform, no vest, no 10 magazines of ammo, no masks, and present people with papers to take them into custody. This is standing intimidation to dehumanize a large group of people.

In the 1930s, the NAACP hung the “A man was lynched yesterday” flag outside its NYC offices to alert the public of these heinous crimes. Their landlord eventually made the NAACP stop this practice. I doubt a flag would make many waves in today’s world. But we need more anger over these ICE murders

What should keep people up at night is that while they're targeting immigrants today, tomorrow it could easily be anyone who disagrees with the president. Imagine them hunting down "communists" from local communities next.

At least you admit in part the problem which, as you correctly point out, isn't new to American history. But you fail to mention the racial component that's undeniable. A much more honest & constructive observation is to begin with this history, Jim Crow being one & Indigenous people killed another.
