Car brain so crazy when you suggest developing land around a transit station people jump to "asphalt and roads" instead of functional public space like parks and plazas.
Define what you mean with "undeveloped". In my world "developing" an existing green space is not turning it into a park, but creating a subdivision, of, yes, roads and asphalt.
Jackson does not cater to rich folks. Maybe better off folks but lots of public high school kids play there. The rich are at the private courses. Wish light rail would have gone down 99.
Even in Scotland where there’s many more golf courses, many more people who play, and much more robust public transportation, no one ever takes a bag of golf clubs with them.
