As long as the hapless kingfisher wasn’t tranquilized. This seems a HOAX. The man did remove its beak w/ relative ease, don’t you think? Woodpeckers peck; I did NOT know kingfishers did too. Drumpf is not a good example as he can be smelled from 1,776 billion Epstein miles away, but I smell a rat.

I thought the same thing, but I’d want to know if the bird would freak out if I touched it before I tried to remove the beak. The fact that it was limp kept it from getting injured (is my thought).

Wtf? Since he took a lot of time to film and dropped the poor birds body a few times I am gonna assume that it was the dude that caught the bird and stuck him into the tree just to film him for the clicks. 👎

I think he made a different video with a kingfisher where it shows the head swivelling backwards and forwards. I thought it looked AI because it was so weird. To now see this same type of bird stick in a tree is raising lots of suspicions.

Fake shit. No kingfisher ever pecks at a tree...this is cruelty for clicks. The poster has placed the bird there. Do not entertain this shit, these people are fucking awful.

How and why would a kingfisher get its beak stuck in a tree? I've seen quite a few kingfishers over decades and this seems false. I think he put it there and if he did he should be horsewhipped to within an inch of his life.

Hey @vetcation.com if you know/care about animals DO NOT share animal cruelty videos staged for a fake rescue. Kingfishers aren't woodpeckers & this one would never have wedged its shut beak in a hole in a tree, esp.w/ no perch. That "rescuer" should be arrested for forcing it tight to hang helpless

F****** psychopaths! That should be a felony in every state, prosecuted swiftly & w/ maximum sentencing. End-stage capitalism is only going to draw out more monsters like that hiding in the shadows. We must be proactive in making sure that abuse and exploitation is absolutely not worth the gamble

I can't follow an account that would post this. Kingfishers are not woodpeckers. No way this could happen without a human putting its beak in there first. Also, no human should lift and release the bird like this even if it had been stuck somehow!

Why would a kingfisher have its beak stuck in a tree unless someone put it there? This is either AI, or the person who "rescued" it put it there in the first place.

Do not support or repost this type of content. These birds do not get their beaks stuck like that. The man put the bird there himself in order to record the video. This is animal abuse and can easily kill the bird

Do not. Kingfishers are not woodpeckers. They don't peck at trees to make nests or hurt for food. As such, there is zero reason why a kingfisher would get its beak stuck like that unless someone put it there on purpose for the sake of filming themselves "rescuing" it.

I was thinking the same at first, but the hand looks right and the background looks real to me. AI would have put beautiful nature or attractive gardens in the background, not slightly scruffy concrete walls and an old tarp.

I think this person may have done this to the kingfisher to make this video. And even if not, who the hell would do that creepy handling of it before removing it, if they aren't sadistic. This is animal abuse, and you shouldn't be posting it.

Shame on you for not vetting this Pic that the one who took it didn't actually force the little bird into the tree trunk and then "rescue" it!!!! And if you CANNOT do that, don't publish the photo!!!!!

The “rescue” was created by the psychotic person who made the video. The bird is a kingfisher not a wood pecker, they eat fish and would never get in this situation. There is zero chance this would happen without the video creator forcing its beak into the bark!

We used to have a screened porch. At least a couple of times each week a hummingbird would get its beak caught in the screen and we would set them free. One day a huge Harris hawk flew through the screen. I finished the job he started, no more screen on the porch
