Crazy shit, considering their messiah are abroad killing ppl. The american Christians could not care less. Unless the victims are white.

True spiritual renewal isn’t coming from a mendacious convicted felon, adjudicated sexual abuser, malignantly narcissistic sociopath, his corrupt Cabinet. Nor the hypocritical organizers who enable him. Renewal does not come from political gimmicks. These people need to reflect on Scripture.

The Trump administration is hosting an all-day prayer festival on the National Mall on Sunday because fascist oligarchs rely on traditional theocratic cognitive authoritarianism for their minority control. bsky.app/profile/wash...

BS. The founders were not devoutly Christian, for the most part. Many were Deists, a belief in a god who does not and will not interfere in our affairs regardless of prayer. Religion is a business of money and power in the hands of the scum who conspire with Trump.

Article 11 of the 1797 Treaty of Tripoli, signed by President John Adams and unanimously ratified by the U.S. Senate, explicitly states that "the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion".

If Hegseth, Rubio, Johnson, et al won’t read and understand the Constitution, several copies should be forcibly inserted up their backsides until they get it.

It s right there in the First Amendment, THE FIRST ONE.... The "Establishment Clause" in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution prohibits the government from creating an official state religion, favoring one religion over another, or preferring religion over non-religion.

This is more about throwing it in the face of the GOP Cultists that claim to love the thing and they don't even know what it says.

"that the founders wanted the U.S. to be explicitly Christian" is not an idea, it is a delusion, and a trustworthy news outlet would report it as such.

Nine hours is a long time for praying even taking time zones into consideration. Regardless would love to eavesdrop on the pipeline to God. “May Trump live forever…” “May the libtards be stuck down…”

We are a nation of religion freedom! Not a Christian nation!! But sure, Pete Hegseth who’s cheated on and abused his wives, has white supremacy tattoos, drinks until he blacks out, and when asked about starving children he said “not my department.” The perfect example of MAGA Christianity.

The colonists were Christians too dour and warped even for England. They lost to, or as their descendants might say, were "replaced" by the eventual founders. Now they flare up once or twice per century, like an heirloom STI passed down through generations. WP may as well be a Chick tract.

Contrary to popular belief, "Thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain" never meant you're not allowed to exclaim 'oh my God!' Taking the Lord's name in vain means distorting the word of God to justify your actions or agenda, political or otherwise.

Religion renews nothing. This country was NOT founded on the Christian religion, and would be better off if Christianity, and religion in general, was excised from government entirely, like the malignancy that it is.

I’m sorry, but they are the last people that should be holding any kind of prayer visual to revitalize a sense of Christianity.
