SNOOPY FOREVER!! Named my childhood cat Snoopy because I couldn't have a dog. He even slept on top of a dog house ;)

Dug🥰🥰🥰

1968 Snoopy and the Red Baron big hit.

Yeah Brian!! WTF

🙌🥰

😭 please dont

They are all good dogs

All correct

Perfect list and order.

Though strictly speaking not a cartoon dog, I must mention Dougal in The Magic Roundabout. A long time back!

This is a gooood list

I was very worried that Snoopy was missing. And I’m concerned about the lack of Dog!

Seems you left off the original blue dog icon.

Mr Peabody?

Ok, ok...snoopy at #1 I can live with, but Scooby Doo is a hard 2nd followed by Clifford. Really .....

Perfect!

All the dog and more. Bronx from Gargoyles

I think courage should have taken #2

Snoopy is the goat!

EMOTIONAL DAMAGE 😭

Perfect!

Good choice of dogs! Congratulations! 👏🏻🐶🥰

Clifford is not a dog, he is a Kaiju

This is exactly what I want from the Internet today. Thank you.

not including Sharky the sharkdog ?!?

What??? Not even Bandit made it?

I agree with #1

Gromit should rate higher. He reads "Electricity For Dogs" and saves his own constantly!

I am sad 😞 Watching Waiting the list for Ren and Stimpy 😫😫

My kids have aged out, but I always thought Martha Speaks was vastly underrated.

Bandit, from Jonny Quest!

We Rate Dogs gives me life. This is Everett. He also gives me life.

Without any doubt, this list MUST be expanded, so we can include more good boys and girls, like Sprocket

📌 #pin

Excellent choices, I knew or at least recognized every one of them, and yes, Snoopy is absolutely the Head Dog.

This still makes the room dusty every single time…

BANDIT!

What about Astro?

Thank you for this. 🤗

I guess you’re too…something…to even know Mr. Peabody. The most cerebral of all (guess that’s why you missed him) :^)

If you can still hear the theme tune, then it's time for your back medication.

Astro from the Jetsons is my honorable mention

What is the name of the first one

Love this! I would put Santa’s Little Helper higher, but good list.

I’m a big Gromit fan from way back. Mostly because one of his primary interests is in electronics. For dogs.

That episode cemented their future!

Gotta love every one! 🥰

Gary is more like those cats that were raised by dogs

❣️

“Spike is my hero!”

A great list! Snoopy for the win!

Love this list. It's perfect.

EXCUSE ME

This is "What-A-Mess" erasure. But I'm pretty sure I'm the only person that remembers that show.

How will @darthbluesky.bsky.social feel about Wishbone being omitted?

It’s a fair Top 10, I would’ve tried to squeeze these 2 stupid dogs in the list though.

love what you do with this 'show'! Thank You!❤️🐕🐾

Came for this one. The back of any station wagon will forever be the Wayback in our family.

Gee Mr. Peabody!

I'd move Scooby up that list, but I'm Gen X, and he was a bigger deal for us.

Dear kind young Mr. WeRateDogs Guy, Pongo would like to have a word on behalf of the many #dogs you missed.

None cooler.☝🏻#dogs

Another cartoon dog that has faded into the past was Marmaduke. He made for a great comic strip in his day.

Thank you! I've met his voice actor, Gregg Berger, who is a sweet, lovely human being.

I bought an Odie stuffed animal right after I got my driver’s license. It’s been on the dashboard of every car I’ve owned for the last 28 years

Oooof brutal snub!

Not on his Top 10. 😳

The Pluto erasure is obscene

#1 Dug

Great video as always but with your (growing) international viewership, it might be worth knowing that 'bummed' has a completely different meaning in the UK than in Northern America ;-)

I'd like to remind you that legally, Stich is a dog.

Does @gailsimone.bsky.social follow this account? I think she would be pleased with #1.

For the non dog (prehistoric) Dino from the Flintstones

Astro from the Jetsons

🥺🤗🤭🫠

Look, I can recognize that Ren Höek is a complex character, perhaps even stretching the credulity of "they're all good dogs," but I think that his representing the panoply of possibilities in animal behavior makes him an iconic cartoon dog.

If you didn't pick Snoopy as number 1 I would have blocked you sooooo hard.

I love this list💜 if I may, I’d like to give a shout out to Barf, the Mog: half man, have dog and loyal friend to Lonestar in Spaceballs

No Snowy from Tin-Tin ???

Courage was my favorite - poor doggy😂💚💚🥺

Missed Mr Peabody

Such a good list! Clifford is why I have always had Rhodesian Ridgebacks in my life - big red dog

Max is simply in a class all by himself. #Dogs

!🙈 No Max is really a tremendous miss @weratedogs.com

Happy Happy Joy Joy!

Certainly he's the greatest ever asthma hound chihuahua

Yay! Snoopy!

I missed Pluto, Idéfix and Pongo, Dalmation Father Extraordinaire

You forgot this fella. 😁

What? Not Astro from The Jetsons? Or Dino from The Flintstones?

I’ve got a Clifford tribute wall. The first book I ever bought with my own money.

SNOPPY! YEAH!

Gotta be Snoopy. Gotta be.

…and…Astro, the Jetsons’ dog. “Ruh-roh.”

They always clocked out at end of day. And that lunchbox! 😂

Had to be!

Loved growing up with Snoopy.

Helloooo!!! Bandit!!!

I love Clifford ❤️

Right??

It's obvious from the comments we could have had a top 20, but this was good.

I feel like Scooby should be ranked a little higher, but other than that, no notes. I will cosign.

You should seek out Roobarb and custard!

no underdog? awwww
