Increasingly my reaction to these videos of unhinged people violently assaulting driverless cars and other tech abominations is "hang on, let's hear him out"

There's absolutely nothing, and I do mean NOTHING you can say to the people claiming Nithya Raman somehow stole the election from Temu Tr*mp, because those people don't like democracy and want to destroy it. They believe a has-been loser piglet like Spencer Pratt should, but not Raman or Bass.

1. Reminder: For the election fraud conspiracy theories being spread about Los Angeles to be true, there would have to be a vast and complex scheme involving hundreds of people in some cases and many thousands of people in others.

A crucial part of Project 2029 has to be performative trials and draconian sentencing for Trump administration officials up and down the organizational ladder. Treat all of them like Timothy McVeigh so that the gravity of their criminality and treason become enduring images in American history.

This story is insane. Married an American, arrested at her greencard interview, flown out of state, nearly killed multiple times when her diabetes was ignored and then mistreated. When she finally got out? Found out her credit card had been used illegally. www.daylightsandiego.org/san-diego-wo...

A big takeaway this year has to be that Sinners and One Battle After Another were big, artist driven, swings bankrolled by WB whose future is ultimately unclear. I like living in a world where people like PTA and Ryan Coogler get to make the films they want to make with those resources.

All these Iranian monarchists who cheered on the bombing of our country, who got on bended knee for Lindsey Graham and Trump, keep asking me, “What if you’re wrong?” about my opposition to intervention and the disaster it could be. I keep telling them I would be thrilled to be wrong.

That Iranian Navy ship we torpedoed had no ammunition on board because that was a requirement to participate in the MILAN 2026 exercise (organized by the Indian Navy). The US Navy knew this because IT ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THE EXERCISE. What a national embarrassment. newrepublic.com/post/207429/...

This stunt where ICE releases people far from home with no proper clothing and no way home should be treated as attempted homicide. In this case, actual homicide. These cases are not accidental or based on misunderstandings. They are deliberate attempts to inflict bodily harm.

And she's too smart not to know all this. That with her extraordinary talent and model-looks she would've been very successful representing any of the empires... but representing China would make her a superstar there. She can't just turn around and cover it in vapid "I want to inspire girls" spiel.

It was not about geopolitics or propaganda for Eileen Gu. She only did what was more convenient for her. The ultimate capitalist. But that contract was not signed in a vacuum between empires.

Because unlike the majority of Chinese Olympians, if she were to take a stand, like so many US Winter Olympians did against their own government, she wouldn't risk her freedom, only endorsement contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars into the future.

But she's also too smart not to realize how she benefits from her position between the two empires. The privileges afforded by cashing in on becoming a superstar on one side of the Pacific, while residing and living in California. Again, she's too smart (goes-to-Stanford-smart).

And I could see how, being raised by a single mother, she would feel closer to her Chinese heritage. But she's an adult now. So, on the one hand, f*ck JD Vance and those who believe she owes them and their ragged empire anything, an empire where people like her have no place but subservience.

The fact that both are quite experienced—8 years and 12 years with CBP—is yet more evidence that CBP should be abolished and all of its agents fired. There's no way to "reform" or "retrain" that, it's just a violent gang with badges.
