Amazing that this has become so normalized and blah for America that it barely makes a ripple. “The president is a rapist? Sure, whatever, have you seen the gas prices, now THAT is a scandal”. What a society.

I have court documents from a Trump and Epstein mid-1990s child rape case in my 2020 book HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT, which was a bestseller. Folks pretending they just learned about this are full of it. They refused to pursue it and let victims suffer in silence, fearing no one cared to hear the truth.

Pedestrianise Bloor, pedestrianise Bloor!!! Cmon imagine how great that would be!!!

But what about the sky? Didn't it fall? Every time a street is pedestrianised the same predictions of doom are made.

Major press failure: treating Jared Kushner taking foreign bribes and shaping US foreign policy as less relevant than Hunter Biden not taking bribes nor influencing policy. Covering Kushner accurately was considered partisan, biased. Lies about Hunter or his minor actions treated as more important.

As in Hungary, the authoritarian regime in Serbia is being dismantled . “For years, we failed to fulfill our duty. We kept silent, turned a blind eye, reported events one-sidedly, and failed to ask the necessary questions. For that, we owe our viewers an apology,” news anchor Goran Eror said.

Putin: “Russia is exploring the possibility of cooperation with the US in the Arctic.” Just a reminder of Trump’s lies that he wanted Greenland to keep Russia out of the Arctic.

Instead of a AI that provides you with very confident yet entirely wrong answers, an AI that poses as an interested and intelligent yet ignorant and naive entity to whom you explain what you are trying to do. In explaining clearly, you will understand what it is you’re trying to do. And answer it.

Kid 1 shared a conversation with ChatGPT trying to get it to help him with his chemistry and his increasing frustration at its blank inability to count carbon atoms in a structure correctly. Ever. Very funny. And terrifying.

One of the most intriguing and impressive messages of the Serbian student movement was its insistence on application of law - one simple strategy simply saying “we have rules, we have laws, we have judges, we have courts - all we are asking for is for the law to be applied correctly and fairly”.

This of course is a ln existential threat to the far right populists that are the threat in almost every western democracy. From Vucic to Trump to Farage to Le Pen etc. they all see politics as a means to self enrichment so the corruption is inevitable. Just ask for the law to applied. That’s it.

Got back from kid hockey at 10:45 and spent the next hour trying to explain some organic chemistry nomenclature to kid 1 and fuuuuuuuuck I need a beer and a sleep. Turns out I know nothing about organic chemistry but by the time he explained it to me, he understood it much better. Teaching eh?

Flávio Bolsonaro had his passport confiscated by the Brazilian fed police as his brother Eduardo told him to flee to the US. He is tied to paramilitary gangs, is being investigated & lost his legislative immunity when he left the Senate to run for president. paydayreport.com/brazilian-fe...

This went on for the rest of the full hour, at which point the BBC apologised for having to go to the weather and urged viewers to follow continuing live coverage on iPlayer. Forty-one minutes of unfiltered, unchallenged propaganda by a far right party with 8 MPs, now third in the polls. Discuss.

BBC News just interrupted its coverage to go, live, to Nigel Farage - a man with no contitutional standing in our setup - responding to the budget - a document which nobody has seen yet. WHY

One concrete lesson from Serbia that is applicable to America is - young people, fucking vote!!!! You must be sick of seeing your country run like this - fucking vote!!! If you don’t it will be more of this billionaire Epstein kushner shit, no progress, no justice. Just Fucking Vote. Please.

The shift away from the US continues. Ten countries have now signed on for Macron’s Forward Deterrence initiative, including the UK, Germany and Poland, WSJ reports. Under the plan, France would station nuclear-capable fighter jets across Europe as trust in the US erodes.

The US has gone 100% completely all in on AI as the sole direction for its economy. Since that will clearly fail since the number of use cases cannot sustain this capital investment, this will leave only malign uses for AI - spying, hacking, a massive international campaign of digital warfare.

In his acceptance speech, Lula says he will work to regulate digital platforms in Brazil. “Digital crimes must be dealt with like real-life crimes.” This comes after Meta directly interfered with the Brazilian elections, favouring Flávio Bolsonaro.

Thoughts about Serbia: 1. This is an incredible opportunity for Europe and the Balkans. If this movement leads to a stable, pro-western government it is a big step. 2. Vucic’s regime is deeply entrenched and has a huge vested interest in the failure of this new govt. The EU must help it succeed.

3. Too many people’s livelihoods relied on Russian money that flowed through Vucic. Somehow the economy will have to replace that if this isn’t going to fail. And honestly that has to come from Europe. There’s a lot of hope, a real opportunity, but also great risk. They murdered Đinđić after all…

One thing that many people do not appreciate about the beauty of the Serbian student movement is that it has no leader - every step and decision were taken communally, true grassroots democracy to the core. It’s pretty damn cool.

Hey, a day where politics doesn’t absolutely fucking suck! Serbia and Brazil eh? Amazing. AMAZING! America - just fucking do this yeah? Everyone else can, you can too. Your turn.
