The original version of this was posted on my FAisDM (felicitousArtisan is Darth Mongoose) Tumblr many years ago. I drew it at about 11pm right before going to bed, trying to express something I felt about art. When I woke up it kinda blew up.

Yall I cannot express just how much I love Bibi’s products! I have a wrist brace and compression gloves and they are both EXCELLENT! So much knowledge and consideration is put into every single product!

I'm really charmed by the Paralives train intro. It's such a unique and active way of presenting household selection/creation. And the storytellers look like a fun spin on difficulty choosing, which would otherwise be just dull lists of menu options.

Orbán's electoral crushing is a far greater achievement than most people outside Hungary realise. He systemically consolidated power for 16 years, fixed the electoral map, abused govt power for political purposes & censored media. The hurdles that Hungarians overcame for this moment were immense.

Orbán has conceded. Péter Magyar said on FB: “Viktor Orbán just called me on the phone and congraulated us on our victory."

ME: I knew Pagliacci was a stage name, but the joke didn't work unless I pretended it was his real name. CHOTINER: So you misrepresented the doctor. M: Well, I didn't know it would be popular. It was just for our followers. C: Right. It's okay to lie when it's only close friends. M: Hold on

DOCTOR: I told him he needed to get out to a show, that was how he would cure his depression. CHOTINER: So you learned this technique in school? DR: No, not— listen it was good advice. Pagliacci was in town. C: Right. Is it standard to give advice before learning a patient’s name? DR: Now look

Having seen several abductions up close, it is really hard to convey how much the thing they’re doing is roaming in military convoys until they see someone who is alone and isn’t white, and then jumping out in large numbers, pulling them into a van, and screeching off, all in 90 seconds or so.

I know we aren’t all fans of the police here but the difference between this and an ordinary police arrest or detainment is night and day. There’s no “You’re under arrest” and then sitting in the car while they ask questions. You are simply disappeared in seconds. No record of what happened.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality. And trans lives are grounded in reality. We see y'all. No matter what. www.popsci.com/science/tran...

It's truly not hard to not post unverified information that comes from unverified sources. It's so, so easy to get an unverified claim from an unverified source sent to you by someone whose youtube channel is loaded with outrage bait and go "Hm, this doesn't seem credible. I won't signal boost it."

For any unfamiliar with the quality of journalism at Teen Vogue, it's well known for hard-hitting stories on "politically sensitive" topics including climate. Then there's CBS: the only major network to increase climate coverage in the last few years. They just axed nearly their whole climate team.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day. certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

The real amazing news here is that the company that first discovered and received approval for lenacapavir in patients with an active HIV infection and went to the expense of running massive global clinical trials for its use as PrEP is immediately licensing it for generic manufacture/distribution.
