Today's announcement from NHS England was as bad as we expected. It is cruel and unworkable, and is phrased such that it is likely cost the NHS a vast amount of money as it is subjected to even more gender-critical lawfare. Trans+ people, and the NHS, deserve better than this.

Under a UK Labour Gov we have: The forced cancellation of all Adult trans + surgeries in Wales The ongoing enforcement of a puberty blocker ban for all trans U18s. A don't say trans style ban on teachers/support staff discussing trans + issues with pupils in English schools.

This is ridiculous, if every single surgery for any other condition was cancelled in this way, everyone involved in the decision making would be fired the next day. This is purely transphobic and completely insane. I hope the NHS gets sued for this.
