Such a gorgeous day today. We had no snow this winter but the mountains give us a bit of a visual treat🩷 #beautifulBC

Trump in Davos, Switzerland: "Without us, right now you'd all be speaking German". German is the main language of Switzerland.

"In a world of great power rivalry, the countries in between have a choice: compete with each other for favour, or to combine to create a third path with impact," says PM Mark Carney in a speech to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. #cdnpoli

And Chilliwack also.

San Francisco’s city attorney filed a first-of-its-kind government lawsuit against some of the country’s largest manufacturers of ultra-processed food, accusing the companies of making and selling products that are harmful to people’s health.

Israelis are moving abroad in record numbers due to fear and discontent - The Washington Post I don’t blame them. Much like any country - not all residents are in support of their hostile, narcissistic leaders. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2025/1...

www.bbc.com/news/article... I had never heard about this before. Really eye opening- it’s so easy to miss the bizarre and horrible things going on worldwide when Gaza/Israel/trump are all that the algorithms have been sending our way.

centerforhumanetechnology.substack.com/p/how-openai... This deserves our attention. A very disturbing and cautionary story of Adam Raine, and how engagement of GPT was detrimental to his mental health, guiding him away from family and toward his own death. #chatgpt #suicideawareness

If you can access @theglobeandmail.com www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/arti... I feel this in many ways, in fact I left the synagogue. G-d/The Divine, is universal, and if we believe that the Divine is good, then there is no way that this can be okay.

PoiLIEvre acting like he was elected to anything when he’s literally begging for a seat in parliament. Remember when the CONS were yelling that “an unelected” person should not be speaking on behalf of Canadians? Plus, OMFG drop the comercial slogans FFS.I can’t listen to this💩 any longer.🤦🏽‍♂️ #canada

@gander22h.bsky.social I found you! *waves from the ruins of diasp*

I’m just so pleased that my new headboard fits all my stuffies on it 💗 #thesimplethings

I think he’ll become more comfortable in front of the press, but I like his style, not afraid to push back. #elbowsup

PM Carney has adopted grey-rocking as his way to handle the orange. Huge Canada W. I guess the orange was half right, it's the Canadians saying “we're so sick of winning all the time 😭” (jk keep ‘em coming) 🇨🇦

For those not yet familiar with who Marlaina Danielle Smith is, she's the sitting Premier (Governor) of Alberta, #Canada. Not only is she Maple MAGA and a super fan of #TraitorTrump & Pierre Poilievre, she wants to privatize everything from Education to Healthcare for all of 🇨🇦. #NoMapleMAGA 🚫

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre gave a lengthy interview to psychologist and media personality Jordan Peterson, touching on his vision for Canada and how he plans to implement it. He comes off so smooth - almost reasonable. It's scary. www.nationalobserver.com/2025/01/03/n...

My land in #Kitely , an #opensim #virtualworld. I started putting Raven’s Reef together as a small town urban role play region back in InWorldz, but since it closed I recreated it here in Kitely. More of a hobby than anything else but still something I love working on.

Māori MPs briefly suspended the Aotearoa parliament’s attempts to reinterpret their founding treaty in the most bad ass use of the Haka I’ve ever seen.

#Palia - still really hoping that weather gets implemented. I've enjoyed the game, but nothing like the sound of rain falling on your roof to really bring in that #cozygame feeling <3

Repost this if you are Jewish, support Jews, or have sent a FLOCK OF WILD GEESE after your enemies

This is my very first Bluesky post. I'm really hoping that this platform continues to grow and can bring over many of those still at 'the other place' as Bluesky begins to open up.
