These liner notes aren't the most words I've said about The Big O, but it's the most I've ever said about The Big O There are plenty of deep, D E E P cuts in here and clarification of some common and widespread misconceptions!

That's a lot of notes.

Art of The Guardian Legend's heroine! She's Miria in Japan but is never named in the translated version, apart from being called The Guardian. Some folks refer to her as Alyssa, but I don't think that's canon. Anyway, I love these. The last one looks like it came from an old Nintendo Power spread.

Yes and we all had tremendous fun naming characters things like "penis" or "ass" and laughing at "Penis has died of dysentery"

Americans who went to school in the 90s: did you play Oregon Trail? Did EVERYONE play Oregon Trail? I keep seeing it come up and wonder if it was truly that prevalent

Look All I am saying is that NFL cheerleading and competitive college/HS cheer are two very different activities. One is sexy entertainment for the crowds during time outs. The other is a competitive scholarship sport with big tournaments, judges, trophies, etc.

My first BW staff badge, 2006. It was a huge privilege to be a small part of something that brought so many people together all around the world. The thriving relationships made through BioWare games are a comforting legacy today. Here’s to the good times. 🍻

Check this out if you like games that go to...unexpected places. It's a surprise Juggernaut even got localized back in the day, but I'm glad it did.

Juggernaut for PS1 revealed its true form to us - it's an interactive horror anthology told across multiple stories and perspectives. Also it's 100% crazed. We're streaming more of it tonight at 7 pm CT! twitch.tv/retropals

fond memories of Shattered Steel... one of my sunday school teachers would invite my family over and I'd just commandeer his Pentium PC to play the hell out of it

Bioware's first game: Shattered Steel (1996) for DOS. Developed after the fledgling company's medical software (hence the name Bioware) as the gaming itch that two of the founders felt just wouldn't go aware. So for their first game, mech simulation with a more arcade streak beckoned.

Maybe my favorite photo from this collection is the booth for Shenmue at Tokyo Game Show Autumn 1999 It's a forklift. It's just a forklift.

Tales if Earthsea is the boring, common answer, but it's the correct one. What a boring, aimless, charmless movie.

"What is your favorite Studio Ghibli Film?" Stop being boring! What is your LEAST favorite Studio Ghibli film? Not just to be a hater, I'm curious to know which movies just didn't vibe with people.
