A while back on twitter I put together a thread of lots of tutorials that helped me as a novice when learning how to make optimized 3D assets in Blender for VRChat use so I went through and organized it all into a carrd for ease of access and so I can keep it organized in a better format.

Messing with the new Material Contacts in the #VRChat SDK beta! Lots of really cool stuff that can be done with this! Here I just draw lines between me and my friends major contacts (torso, hands, etc)! All done on the avatar with a shader + 1 material contact!

One interesting thing about Light Volumes is that they can be updated at runtime, allowing for baked lighting toggles! Here, I have two switches controlling two Light Volumes, plus an additional one for the light shining through the window. Everything is baked. #VRChat

Thinking about how work training evaluation tests are invalidated by following basic test taking strategy. Test-making is a genuine skill most people don't have and it really shows when every question is just this: What's The Answer? A. The Answer B. The Am5w3r C. Not The Answer D. A Literal Joke

This could be solved with an inclusion of essay questions and less multiple choice questions but then they'd have to pay someone to grade those and we all know how they'd feel about that.

I think rhythm games are the only game genre that I really like but I just cannot play. My brain snaps in half and my fingers always end up reversed and the only method I've found that works is to painstakingly memorize every part of a song then I can do _that song_ good and that's it.

I think rhythm games are the only game genre that I really like but I just cannot play. My brain snaps in half and my fingers always end up reversed and the only method I've found that works is to painstakingly memorize every part of a song then I can do _that song_ good and that's it.

I am reminded of this every time I pick one up and I do enjoy the process of learning but it feels like I am fundamentally missing key part of the genre. (it's rhythm. I got no rhythm)
