keep thinking about how, at concrete with 140 people + perf gating and everyone shown, i was at 25-30 fps at the great pug with 100 + no perf gating, i couldn't even tell you what my fps was because i was seeing the SteamVR screen more than rendered vrchat frames

normally this isn't worth posting about, but the pug's events tend to attract a lot of vrchat oldheads that should 100% know better but are unbelievably stubborn if your friends include shader authors and tool makers i feel like you need to get with the program

Friction in "learning" always pisses people off, so this makes sense to me. As someone who used to teach, nothing annoys students more than refusing to tell them something. While good students "get" why, bad ones just get mad at you.

Concerning trend I see online is using social justice language as a mask when talking about issues that at their core are interpersonal conflict. There is nothing wrong with feeling anger, envy, or hurt towards someone, but we need to talk about this in private with our support circles.
