Yeah, sure... I guess it costs less to make a game or movie or whatever if I have AI do the work. Y'know, that software that runs on other people's computers, which they're undercharging for to make me dependent on it, so they can own the entire field and then charge whatever they like.

Don’t know how to say it other than, creatives are currently enduring an Era of Punishment from rich people who just despise people with functioning brains.

I want every rich celebrity who shows up in a gambling/prediction market ad to live the remainder of their life impoverished. I don't feel like that's too much to ask.

A lib told me guys who are worse keep beating centrist suits so I asked how many centrists he's run and he said he just goes to the chamber of commerce and gets a new one every election so I said it sounds like he’s just feeding centrists to republicans and then a Bluseky reply guy started crying.

Ah fuck I just realized they're always going to have a guy who is worse. Shit. What if we tried a person who is good then? No? Can't do that? Go fuck myself as usual? ok then.

Doomerism is lazy. It's giving yourself permission to not try. It's a privileged take, which is why I overwhelmingly see Doomer content from white men. Everything can be done. The future is not yet written. We have agency, can do something. We ARE doing something. Millions of us are moving.

Why should anyone give a shit what WIll Stancil thinks/feels/says about trans people anymore. He pretty conclusively made his stance clear and his feedback is no longer needed. Let's stop bumping him to the trending feed just to get our repost dunks, huh?

Day 1 of Soda City Comic Con was one of the best! Getting here was an adventure, but the fans and attendees made it all worthwhile. I can’t wait for Day 2 to kick off. If you’re not here, you’re wrong! #zedcomicsoriginal #sodacity #comicconvention #bestfansintheworld

Flock takes their privacy very seriously. But the ethical gray area in surveillance technology works both ways. Under no circumstances should elected officials or public servants enjoy an expectation of privacy when spending tax dollars to attend a surveillance lobbying event.

No Man's Sky. Outwardly, especially in 2026, it seems like this massive freeing experience. Inside it's stacks of shallow, teduious game mechanics jenga'd together over a decade.

No hate, no dogpiling, just curious. For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.

Here's a room temperature take about 'negative social consequences'. Advertisers are permitted to lie and deceive with impunity to such a degree that it allows them to influence culture itself. I feel their undue influence in our lives constitutes a negative social consequence.

everyone — consumers, publishers, writers — would wind up better off if web browser ad-blockers didn't exist and the rationalizations for using one are mostly clever justifications for what's just selfish behavior with obvious negative social consequences.
