Watching the credits for Wildwood and seeing “made with human hands” hit me emotionally way harder than I expected it to. LAIKA has a solid track record, and Wildwood may just be their best yet. It’s a miracle this movie got to be made in this day and age, please see it in theaters while you can.

After seeing Wildwood, I read an interview with Travis Knight for the Hollywood Reporter that made me cry. I implore everyone to go see Wildwood when they get the chance. Even for Laika, a studio with a solid track record, it is unbelievable what they have accomplished.

Congrats to the folks over at The Coalition for the launch of Gears of War E-Day! I had worked on this title very briefly for a few months many years ago, and it's very common in the game industry to remain uncredited in those circumstances, so this was a pleasant surprise to see my name made it in.

I think the thing that makes me the most mad about the last few years is that we're watching the ruling class voluntarily take the american entertainment industry and throw it into a garbage can.

Yet again, the Game UI Database is being scraped to the point that it's getting knocked offline. Even Cloudflare's "I'm under attack" mode isn't working. I just wanted to create a resource for real designers. I'm getting so fucking sick of this.

The fact business news are as confused by what’s going on as me and I don’t keep track of things as close as I assume they must do makes me think its worse on the inside and no way you can make anything worthwhile or even do it comfortably.
