It’s important for bad art and media to be about 15-20% of what you consume (roughage).

what gets me is that every time the assholes lose, their lives aren’t actually worse off in any meaningful way. they get to be grumpy about stuff that doesn’t concern them, but they don’t lose any rights and they still own everything. but when they win, everyone who’s not them suffers.

if i went to the bottom of the ocean in a submersible vehicle, i’d probably use one constructed out of titanium or some other similarly strong material

people who bike or take the bus are pretty good about banding together to make things better for their shared interests, but people who drive don’t really have that communal advocacy and i think the reason is pretty obvious: drivers hate other drivers
