One of my colleagues is presenting a beautiful, complex spreadsheet with formulas for community management data and everyone in the Zoom chat is losing their mind and hyping her up 🤩 Nothing gets dev community folks riled up like a spreadsheet!

I forgot to mention that both are totally free!

Finally got around to reading this and absolutely loved it. “Elsewhere” by Zevin was one of my favorite books in high school and returning to her writing style felt like catching up with an old friend. I’m married to a game dev so all the gaming lore was fun as well. A beautiful read.

A connection is graduating college in May and looking for a mentor in web development as they start their career search. Where can I direct them for guidance and community? I have some thoughts but want to make sure I give them all the available resources I can. Thanks in advance for ideas!

please stop using chatgpt to write your conference talk submissions. we can tell.

I'm doing a stream takeover on the @vscode.dev channels! that's an exciting new launch coming, and my friends @cassidoo.co, @jherr.dev, and @shaundai.com are going to help me build something festive from scratch 🎄 see you there!

I'll be speaking at JSNation in Amsterdam next year! The CFP is now open and I'd strongly recommend you to apply. It's a great experience for speakers and attendees ❤️ forms.gle/jbkVrNrdxQa5...

Watching “Int. Chinatown” on Hulu last week. Started off a little slow but had a really cool premise. Now three episodes in and I think I’m hooked. Anyone else watching it?

He's making a list He's checking it twice He's Googling whether it's `.slice()` or `.splice()`

It’s so cool to make a game and then watch people play it! @bigplay.bsky.social and I made a physical card game for the ATL Game Jam and put it to the test tonight at the Game Dev Meetup. Check it out on the submission page below and play at home with a deck of cards 🃏 itch.io/jam/atljam24...

Went for a bike ride date night to Gunshow near EAV yesterday and it was amazing! A really cool experience and unique dishes (beef fat eclair, what?!) and drinks (with zero-proof options too!)

Good morning Bluesky 👋🏼 🦋 Web Dev / Dev tools tip 🔥 Did you know there is a 'changes' tab in the browser dev tools? It keeps track of changes that you make and presents it in git style diff UI. You can even copy changes when you're finished! 🤯 Never lose those unknown CSS changes again 🎉

Ordered a chocolate milk carton with my pickup order at the bagel shop but they were out. Clerk 1 says I can pick a different drink or he can refund. Clerk 2 says they have milk and chocolate syrup and offers to mix one up for me. Cheers to the creative problem solvers of the world 🥛

Excited to be back on the program committee for @jsnation.gitnation.org 2025! Make sure to submit your CFPs!

What a great year it’s been planning Atlanta developer events with these amazing people! I couldn’t ask for a better group of community leaders and am so excited for more in 2025 🥳

Also, shoutout to @bigplay.bsky.social for his prize-winning cream cheese snickerdoodle cookies 😋

The Holiday Party/Cookie Exchange was a hit! It was so fun celebrating with the awesome Atlanta tech community. We’ll see you in 2025 for more events!

My trick for alt text is I use speech to text and I speak the description like I would describe it to someone over the phone I don’t always do it well but it’s been working for me better that typing

Cookies all baked for the Modern Web x ATLJS x React ATL x VueJS ATL Holiday Party & Cookie Exchange tomorrow! There’s still time to RSVP, hope to see you all there 🍪 meetu.ps/e/NDR9X/FQ94...

“Conversation Ended by Bot” is madness.

I want to connect with more up-and-coming tech content creators! Who should I be following that makes great videos about web/mobile/DevOps? 👀

Did a ride to downtown on the new bike, and took the roads instead of beltline/freedom trail. My average HR is high because it spiked from anxiety when a taxi honked at me multiple times 😅 A good ride otherwise and I’m getting slightly more comfortable sharing the streets with Atlanta drivers

Santa’s favorite Christmas song is “A Long December” by the Counting Crows.

My husband (UGA fan) was smart enough to bake cookies for me (Texas fan) in anticipation for the end of this game 🥲 Maybe third time’s the charm with a rematch at the natty? 🤘🏽🤞🏽

We’re going to overtime 🥲

Love the idea of someone watching the Fishes episode of The Bear thinking it’s going to be a “Merry Episode” on Disney+

Someone was a good girl at the vet today 🥹
