As Ed Miliband walks up to journalists with Marco Rubio, a journalist shouts out, "Mr Miliband, do you still think that President Trump is an idiot, a racist, and a misogynist?" "Do you still hold that dim view of the President?"

Can't see anything on BBC about this. Shocked Pikachu face.

Big new story from @annaisaac.bsky.social. Cottrell transferred $2m to his mother before she made Reform & Tice donations. The even bigger question now is where did Cottrell’s money come from? And this is where I think a very big problem lies.. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Wednesday marks 10 years to the day since Cameron resigned to let Brexit usher in a new era of stable self governance. Since then we've burned through: 5 more prime ministers 8 chancellors 8 home secretaries 9 foreign secretaries 10 education secretaries 10 defence secretaries Masterful work.

Christ.

telling detail in this STimes piece claiming the US embassy in the UK has switched from watching the BBC to GBNews, and if that's where they're getting their idea of everyday UK life from - well it would explain quite a lot www.thetimes.com/uk/politics/...

Meanwhile, on X a US Congresswoman is calling for full sanctions against the UK in case of further action against X. Although I estimate both the UK outright banning X and full US sanctions as unlikely, this shows how the mood even towards the 'special relationship' closest ally is changing.

Unbelievably, #DuvetKnowItsChristmas generates such good will on social media that over the years we've raised somewhere approaching a quarter of a million quid for homeless charities. If you can spare a bob or two, sling some to Centrepoint, and here's the link: www.gofundme.com/f/duvet-know...

Tomorrow evening it’ll be my annual duty to vaguely shepherd the activity on the #duvetknowitschristmas hashtag and urge people to give small sums to charity. 7.30pm? Something like that?

Grand opening, grand closing. X quietly disabled a new feature that showed which country an account was posting from when it revealed that lots of popular right wing MAGA accounts were being run from foreign countries like India and Nigeria.

Good morning ☀️ Starting the day with this powerful Nelson Mandela quote: “May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.” Isn’t that what it’s all about? The choices we have to make. And what moves us to make them.

Still courting voters who'd likely never vote for Lab anyway. What the fuck are you doing?

The Westminster chatterati’s perception of Birmingham is so utterly deranged by this point I’m actually sitting here laughing The way people are talking about it you’d think it was some dystopia from the Hunger Games or something Go outside, touch grass, come to Birmingham - you’ll be fine 😂
